Cheap alternative that doesn’t work
Bought this since I have an older car that only uses an aux cord and needed something to play music and charge my phone at the same time since apple is above aux ports apparently. When I use this adapter it makes a loud static sound when I play music and the lightning port on it is sensitive in its position so my phone doesn’t charge most of the time if I use the adapter. So if I want to listen to music, I can’t charge my phone and vice versa. Absolute waste of $10. Going to pay apples price for their adapter now which I was trying to avoid in the first place.

Zero stars
Wish I could give it zero stars. I could kick myself for not reading the reviews that state it’s a case, not an adapter. Although, the adapter is what sent and does not work. Worst $10 I’ve ever spent and I can’t send it back fast enough.

Fuzzy sound
Didn't end up using it after testing it for around two weeks. Every time I tried, the audio quality was extremely poor and filled with static. Tried different auxiliary cables with no success. Sound quality was perfect when not using this dongle.

Did not last beyond 10 uses.
It worked great for the first few times and then the connection with phone started getting loose and only works one direction now and you have to push and wiggle it get a good connection now. I’ve never gotten the phone to charge while it’s connected only the headphones

It didn't work at all.
It did not work! By the time my husband remembered to give it back to me from his car - I was already past the return date.
