Bulk Pack Of 120 Microwave Oven ~ Brown and Crisp ~ Cooking Bags

This is a decent value, you get quite a few bags.But so far they don't seem to brown as much as I had hoped. I had seen the infomercial for these years ago, and certainly had a different impression of how well they would work from that (yes yes yes!, I know, I know, impression from an informercial, duh!)But as an example, when I nuke a frozen chicken pot pit that doesn't have to have the vendor's silvered boxtop, I thought I could cover the top with this instead to brown it up. I helps a little bit, but not by much, and not nearly as good as using the vendor's silvered boxtop.Another experiment, I tried making a grilled cheese in one of these bags. I had the ends cut off so that steam could escape. Frozen bread and sliced american cheese. Yes, I know this sounds horrible, it was an experiment! No matter how long I nuked, the bread never browned. A full sized microwave with just 2 slices of bread and 2 slices of cheese, there should be PLENTY of power to work whatever magic these browning bags are supposed to be capable of. The cheese goes nuts, and the bread certainly thaws and "steams", and the bread directly touching the bag's silver surface is slightly less soggy, maybe almost dry, compared to the rest of the bread, but no real browning. To be fair, the product description doesn't claim this will work.Based on this, I don't think you could properly bake biscuits or frozen dough-based treats, which I do believe they used to show in the infomercial.In later experiments, at least on the pot pie, I'll maybe try multiple layers, we'll see.I REALLY wanted these to work, even moderately well. But I'd say "LOWER your expectations" if you're still planning to order this.And if they ever come up with a "new and improved" brand, I'd be tempted to try it again.

Just these all the time for bacon in the morning. Does my bacon in about 4 minutes or less, crisp and delicious and no grease popping all over the place. Just poor it out of the bag and take out the bacon with tongs. You can store the bag in the freezer in a ziplock and use it several times. So glad Amazon carries these. Great product.

I used these Brown and Crisp bags for years, my family and I cooked bacon in them a lot. Brown and Crisp bags are the best for cooking bacon in microwave than any other product I've used. I would buy them for that reason alone. I also heat up pizza in them.These bags are simply the best for heating & serving. I was happy to find them again. Thank You amazon!

It's summer & I'm trying to avoid using the oven and these help. They aren't precision & you can't carefully watch the progress but they function as advertised & it's one less item to clean.

these work well for reheating (anything that you want crisp on both sides). not so good for cooking. overall good outcome.

My mom is who I ordered this for she was disapointed in the product. She lives in assisted living and sometimes likes to heat up her left overs.

It didn't work like the commercial promised. The food didn't really crisp, but, it's ok. I was sort of disappointed in the product.
