2marantec M3-2312 Garage Door Opener Remote Set of 2

Just bought my house and the remotes to the 10 year old garage opener were barely responsive, even with new batteries. I took a chance and purchased 2 new replacements and with the last breath from the old ones was able to recode the new remotes and they work great! They came with the adapter that plugged the new remote into the new, and the instructions explained how to program, if I can do it, anyone can! Make sure if your remotes are on the last leg, to save them until they arrive otherwise I believe you have to get up on a ladder to program them with the opener and that might be harder than doing it with your old remotes!

Easy to program, really easy. I have owned several openers / remote controls in my lifetime and this one isby far the easiest to program. I had to program it to two different openers, it was a breeze. I highly recommendthis unit if you want easy and effective.

I was so happy to find this product. I have a Viper X50 garage door opener and my remote malfunctioned. Viper wanted to charge $50 for one remote and the universal remotes at the store didn't work. After a little investigation, I noticed that Marantec was the actual brand for this remote and that I needed a 315MHz controller. This one worked great! I was able to program the new remote using the old broken one, so I didn't have to reset everything. The programming header is a little loose but slightly bending the two remotes in opposite directions finally got it to make good contact with the board and program. I saved so much with these and am very happy they worked!

Set this up for my moms garage. She has the m4500. Received this item and although we only set up one of the remotes, it works great so far. Set it up with the garage door pin pad. Set up was easier than i thought it would be.

Don't read too much into the complaining reviews about this being impossible to program. Here's the key:1) Plug the active remote into one of the new remotes using the 3-prong connector.2) Press and hold a button on the active remote. The light will remain on while you hold the button.3) Press and hold the corresponding button on the new remote. The light will immediately flicker, then stay on constantly.4) Release both buttons and try the new remote. The button on the new remote should now control the same garage feature as the old one.5) Repeat for each button on each new remote.

I needed some new garage door openers and found these here on Amazon. They matched the one I already had so I decided to take a chance, though I honestly assumed I would not be able to get them to work. I thought it would be difficult and require way more steps than I wanted to go through. To my surprise and delight, they were incredibly easy to program. I was done with both of them in less than a minute. I'm so happy I took a chance on these.

I have to say, my awesome husband is completely not the handy guy...with this being said I was worried after reading some of the reviews that it was difficult and tricky...so when they came in, I looked at my husband with fear in my heart but hopeful he might be able to get these to work...and YIPPEE!! I came home from shopping and as I asked him if he was able to connect the remotes... and he actually said it was super easy and was surprisingly super easy!!!!!! Ok so there you go! I’m ordering two more just for back up but seriously if he can do this anyone can and the remotes work perfectly!! Hope this helps your decision 👍🏻

Arrived early! Ordered on the 1st and arrived on the 5th of July.Emailed the seller regarding the need for inclusion of instructions for pairing the transmitter/remote to the garage door opener without the original remote. The button failed (or the circuit was fried?) on my original remote and therefore I was unable to "easily" program the new remotes using the provided program connector as outlined in the instructions provided (not the sellers fault as this is an odd scenario). Instead I had to fish for instructions online, which took up a chunk of time. After pairing the first remote, (this was rather simple once the instructions were found), I was able to use the included instructions and sync the two new remotes. Both remotes received appear new, both worked, the only thing I noticed was the lettering on the back was pretty faded, and they are slightly slower than the original remote for opening and closing. I also wanted to add that the plastic door on the back of the remote was a bit difficult to remove. I used the metal visor clip provided to pop it out after my husband struggled with it for a bit. It's now clipped in my car ready to use.
