The Board Dudes 2 in 1 8 colors: Double - Ended 4 Magnetic Dry Erase Markers

I've been using these on this Quartet melamine whiteboard: Quartet® Standard Dry-Erase Board, Melamine, 36 x 24, White, Aluminum FramePros:- Bright, opaque colors that show up very well, even the aqua & pink- Eraser-tipped caps are handy- Pretty colors!- Erase completely even after a few weeksCons:- Eraser-tipped caps means that you can't just put the cap on the end of the marker when you're using it - not a big deal, but I'm forgetful enough that I could easily lose track of it.- Caps require more force than I expected to put on tightly. A plus is that it's easy to tell when the cap isn't on all the way - the cap color is extended on to the marker itself, so you'll see white if the cap isn't on.Notes:- Tips are a little thicker than a fine-point Sharpie and deliver a line that's more than sufficient to read from a few feet away, or in a medium-sized conference room, but may be too thin to read in a classroom environment. Certainly too thin to read in a lecture hall.- For those whose monitors are not doing a great job with the picture, the colors offered are: blue/black, pink/purple, red/orange, aqua/green.- Check your board to confirm that it's magnetic - I assumed, and was disappointed. I had to play with them on my friend's whiteboard instead. The magnets on these markers seem to be weak, but they're more than strong enough to keep them from sliding around on a vertical surface.Recommended. I'll buy these again.

The magnetic on these markers is VERY weak. It does not like to hold very tight and can easily be knocked off the board by vibrations along. The marker quality is outstanding though!!

I purchased these markers to complement a Board Dudes 7.5" x 23" Horizontal Magnetic Dry Erase/Cork Weekly Planner Combo Board (44062VA-4), which I altered slightly to mount on our fridge instead of on the wall. Unfortunately, the magnets on these markers proved to not be quite powerful enough to actually support their own weight; instead, they sort of desperately cling to the surface of the fridge and then pitifully slide down in a self-perpetuating death-spiral. It's actually mildly entertaining, in a depressing sort of way. That being said, the four markers fit quite nicely end-to-end across the top of the board, where they consequently stay quite snugly thanks to the strength the magnets do have. All of the markers have good, strong colors with the exception of the light blue, which for some reason writes as though the cap has been off for some time. I definitely appreciate the built-in cap erasers, which save my fingers from a lot of corrective colorations.The magnet issue I have could be due to the texture of our fridge surface or perhaps the fact that the magnets appear to be recessed into the markers by a few millimeters, limiting their sticking power. Your mileage may vary, as with anything, but provided there is something more stable that one or all of the markers can rest on, you can count on the magnets to at least keep them from falling off a surface completely.I'd recommend these to those who need a good set of colored whiteboard markers, but only if you don't need or are willing to work around the sub-par magnetization feature.

These markers are the perfect way to fulfill your children's "school supply" list. Every year we ask my son what they need whiteboard markers for and he says "nothing... only teachers use them" and frankly, whiteboard markers that are decent can be quite expensive when you already have a required $200.00 list to send per child. I use whiteboards at home, so I have a good idea of which work well for me personally.... but for school there's no need for big Expo markers and buying a separate eraser. I was thrilled to find this set because of the more compact size, built in erasers, and bright variety of 8 colors packed into only 4 slim markers.The writing is very smooth and is a medium tip that's good for any use. There is little or no detectable odor compared to other brands. Thus far, he's had no issues with leaking, breaking, or dry-outs and apparently the built in erasers work well compared to the type with the "cheap foam cube" on the generic types. These are ergonomic for writing in cursive or print and the double ends don't get in the way of what you're doing. These are a great purchase whether at home or office and definitely for the dreaded school supply list. I'd highly recommend the set based on performance, quality, and price.

These markers are GREAT! I have a large household (7 kids). We use a whiteboard for daily chores. With these markers I am able to buy one set and have a different color for each child plus another color for overall household messages. I love that these do both fine line and bold, I love the colors. They are bright and eye catching and easily distinguishable (which, if you know anything about kids, is important.) I love the fact that I can hold all 4 markers in one hand while I am writing out the board after the kids leave for school... and I don't have to search for a particular color. I love the magnets. It keeps them all close at hand, and I can hide the markers (from the 5 and 8 year olds) on the back of the refrigerator if I need to. (Might sound strange, but they are a little overly rambunctious and like to draw on anything and everything). I also love that they have the erasers on them. We always lose ours and end up using rags.The price for these was great, too! In he town I live in, you can get 4 single markers for not much less than the price of these. The larger sets at larger retailers ate nearly twice as much and no as good quality. If you had more colors.... I would definitely buy them.

Pen caps have to be put on exactly in the same orientation in order to utilize magnets effectively (a slight angle makes it hard for a single magnet to hold up the whole pen), but otherwise is useful and works as expected

Tenia mis dudas por las malas calificaciones del producto, no es un producto excelente y por el precio no lo esperaba, cumple con mi necesidad al 100% todos los plumones pintan perfecto, el iman pega bien, si resbala un poco pero nada grave, insisto... por el precio si le doy las 5 estrellas

Excelente opción, se ve muy claro, no están gruesos (ojo), es para escritura delgada, pero muy legible. Para clases de gruos reducidos o pizarras de trabajo muy bueno.

Magnet isn't that strong on these markers. Doesn't hold well on my board - close a door and they fall off.

El producto no cuenta con la calidad que estaban señaladas en la descripción, los imanes no pegan correctamente y la tinta del marcador no funciona muy bien, aparentemente parece que se acabara.
