Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have tried all kinds of lighting solutions for one of my closets. It has no power a drywall ceiling and walls and once placed it is a bit hard to get to to replace batteries but since it was drywall it tended to fall off before it needed them. Then I got a set of these HausLichts Under Cabinet Lighting and I love them! I took a minute to charge them up and found out they were almost fully charged when I got them (took like 10 minutes to charge up fully). I set it up for motion detection (switch was basically ON/OFF/G (why G for motion detection I have no idea). I then tried it our a few times (once for the short video that looks like a black screen) and it works perfect and the adhesive is one of the newer type that stick to anything but can be removed, the effort to remove the light once a month for charging is simple you just twist the light 90 degrees and then it pops off easy.Just so you understand this is magnetic so if you have something that a magnet will stick to this will stick to it with no other adhesive or plates to bother with, on the drywall I used the thin steel strip it comes with (see picture) and you use the adhesive to place that on the wall/ceiling/etc and the light sticks to it magnetically and this is not a weak magnet either (hence the 90 degree turn requirement)They were smaller than I expected but turns out they put out a ton of light and the size makes them easier to place and less likely to fall down.Bottom Line: A product that exceeds what I expected and works perfectly, 5 Stars

It's so nice to come upon products that are WELL DESIGNED. They seem to have thought of everything. Here's the rundown:1). Rechargeable.2). Rechargeable by way of USB. (you can use your laptop USB port, if you like).3). Magnetic!! Super easy to "install". Just use the provided double-sided sticky tape to stick the separate metal plate it comes with, and stick it under your cabinet. The light just sticks right to it! Easy to remove; easy to put on. Just the right amount of magnetism. It's not going anywhere until you pull it off.4). It has a red/green indicator light saying when it's finished charging.5). It has a great motion sensor. Comes on when you're in front or going by it, but not randomly. Shuts off after 20 seconds. Works great.6). Warm light! Not the ugly, gross, bright LED white light. And the light is evenly distributed.7) Comes with the cable to connect to your USB port on your laptop, or phone charger, or whatever.Also, being that my closet door frame is wood on top of metal, I can stick this thing right to the wood frame, vertically, without using the provided metal plate! I live in a high-end home, and I'd seriously consider putting these everywhere.If you can't tell, I really like this light.UPDATE: So, the not so great news. I loved these so much, I ordered another set, but this time went with the newer model, which is a smooth light and not a bunch of led dots. The light is more even, and at 6,000k, very bright. GREAT for a closet - if you like the harsh whiteness of the light itself. With one problem: After literally one day of use, the motion sensors stopped working in BOTH units I got. So, they need to get that figured out. Also, it would be really great if they would offer a version that was warmer, like in the 2,700k version they have, only with the smoother lighting like the new ones.

These are great, but the design is for them to stay off when it's light and for the motion sensor to turn on the light when it's dark. I wanted these to always go on when they detect motion in light or dark, so here's how to easily modify them.1. Charge them fully and remove the black sticker. (This sticker blocks the light sensor so that you can test them when you get them, but we're going to move this black sticker directly to the light sensor on the circuit board.2. Remove the two screws on the side with the charging port.3. Use a tool to pry back the translucent plastic. Pry it in the center and it should easily peel back.4. Peel back this plastic about halfway.5. Locate the photosensor (light sensor) between the two LEDs near the motion sensor.6. Cut off a small piece of the original black sticker and apply this over the photosensor.Now just put it back together and you're done! It might be a little tricky to make the plastic cover aligned in the grooves, but use your fingers in a back and forth rocking motion and it should go in without too much difficulty.

I got two of these and install them under two of my cabinets. They are easy to install, just peel off the paper on the plate and attach. They have three settings, one on and one off, and auto. I put them on the auto setting and when you pass or go to that cabinet, they turn on. They bright enough to light up your counter area and hold a charge for a long time. They come with at charging cord and charge quickly. I must mention that when your over head lights in your kitchen are on, they will not come on. They only work when no other light is on. I like them so much, that I am going to order another set. Great buy and not expensive!

This is a very nice design, looks sharp, easy to install, and motion detection is ok - I would really like this light except for one thing - the battery life is terrible. It may work fine for a coat closet that only gets opened periodically, but will not work for something like a pantry or under cabinets on a kitchen. I have to charge it pretty much every day. So unless you plan on keeping the USB charging cord plugged in to it (which is way to short and not nearly long enough) do not buy this light.

These lights are great. Easy to install. Easy to use. I replaced a halogen under cabinet light above our sink. Charge them up maybe once a month. Perfect for the night time and during the day.
