Breathe

We first bought this book about 10 years ago when our oldest was a baby that had a hard time sleeping. It's a soothing book and it always helped us put him to bed. We loved it so much that we handed it down to his little brother, and have also purchased new copies for all of their cousins and all of our friends kids. We buy this book for every single one of our friends and family members that are expecting a new baby. It's adorable and soothing and we love it!

Like another review said, this is a great book to read to get ready for bed... Simple text and beautiful pictures set the mood for bedtime and put me in a meditative state. My little 16 month old likes belugas, and she loves this book. Also looks great in the nursery. So glad I bought this.

Beautiful dreamy Illustrations to make your mind float . Choices of colors are perfect. Story has very little words, but it gives readers focus on a mother's love watches over her child , teaching the baby whale to have fun. Definitely a bedtime book. Very inspiring for children's book art lovers.

Stunning pictures. Our 2 year old has it it over a month and we still read it almost daily. She loves belugas and this book thrills her beyond belief.

I have been reading this book to my son since he was born. He is now five and we still read it together. Sometimes he reads it with me and I weep like a small child silently because it is the sweetest moment ever. I love this book because of the pictures and because of the simplestic quality of the story but also because it taught my son how to use breathing to slow himself down. I would have him breathe every time the book said breathe and now he can use breathing to come down from anger or hyperactivity.I am in love with this book and I just bought a new one because we loved the old one so much it was in tatters. This is something I will keep as a Momento until i kick the bucket.

I use this book for teaching toddler yoga and the children love it. They do poses and stop to breathe whenever the book says "Breathe." It is perfect for the age range I use it with.

Beautiful pictures - better for a younger audience. The 3 1/2 year old the book was given to was almost too old for the story. She loved the pictures.

I picked this book up at my library, drawn in by the gorgeous art. I loved the book so much I bought it on kindle. It's a very soothing read. I think it would be good as a quiet down book at a pajama story time. Or a bedtime book to be read over and over. It has the same sweet feel as Mama, Do You Love Me.
