I cannot believe this lens goes for such a low price!!! This is a terrific lens, it’s razor sharp, the build quality is solid, and the image that this lens produces is just perfect. I cannot recommend this lens enough, seriously, it’s almost too good to be true but I cannot seem to find a single thing I dislike about it. Seriously, this is a purchase you want to make

The media could not be loaded.  Buy it! Buy it now! Seriously you will not regret this one. I am blown away by the quality of this lens in every regard. Better build quality than my Canon L series glass, sharp image, good contrast and colors and the list goes on! I use mine with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k and have had amazing results. The video I am posting was filmed the very first day, moments after I took it out of the box. I can't wait until the 50mm and 85mm come out as I will likely never use any of my Canon L or Sigma Art lenses again after experiencing cinema glass and cinema gears! As for now this is my go to lens if I can work with the focal range. The long focus throw is amazing and I finally feel like I am using a real video lens again! The 16mm in particular has been ideal for gimbal use and wide shots. The only con to this lens is one you definitely need to know: At T/2.2 you will get some chromatic aberration... (not horrible, the video I posted was filmed wide open at T/2.2) This is easily fixed by stopping down to T/2.8 and it's gone. You cannot beat this lens for the money and I couldn't recommend them more. Seriously, thank you Meike!!

This is an incredible buy. You can rack focus without the zoom effect. I got the 16mm lens and it is heavy (as compared to a kit lens), but that is due to a lot of glass in this lens. I really like the smooth f stop feature and the large amount of travel in the focus (helps to more accurately focus). Using it on a GX85 and the picture quality is really good.

The build quality is absolutely amazing. The sharpness is fine but i mean with editing that doesnt really matter. The focus and aperture rings are SUPER smooth so you could do active focusing while recording. The only con I can think of is that it is a heavy lens, so if you're depending on a stabilizer it MIGHT not work.TLDR; If you're like me and don't got a lot of money to invest on a lens, save up for this one because I HIGHLY recommend this. great all around lens with that shallow depth of field everyone loves without sacrificing the ability to film in tighter spaces compared to a 50mm lens.

I use this for my "B" camera for wedding/events and have found it to be a great choice. The quality of the lens itself is far better than you would expect for the price, and the build quality is five stars.

I bought this after reading a multitude of reviews like you’re doing now.Buy it.So similar to the Veydras at a third of the price. Really sharp, super smooth, mine feels well built with all metal construction, super smooth rings.Just a great image at an insanely low cost. Just ordered the 25mm and will definitely get any new focal lengths if released in the future. I shoot a lot of documentary’s on GH5’s for online content and these are sooo worth the price.

So far this thing has been amazing. Focus throw is long which is good compared to my hair movement out of focus stills lenses. Sharpness from the footage I’ve captured so far has been spot on. The focus breathing is unnoticeable when pulling from one subject to another. This lens’ build quality is solid as a rock. It’s metal all the way around and the front element doesn’t stick out so I have a UV filter on for protection. On the Zcam E2 M4 the locking twist is solid as well. Doesn’t budge for me once locked in. I’m going to be making a set of these cine lenses for sure.

One of the best primes I own especially considering it's relatively low price point. The two rings are well constructed as is the whole lens for that matter. It is entirely built of metal.

I use this lens along side with my Veydra primes. It has got the same properties of Veydra. The colour tone is slightly different but can be fixed in the post.
