Great 3mp camera
I have both the original Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I and this Update Version DS-2CD2035-I for my home security system... Both images age very clear even at night... There is a slight difference in the camera settings, as this new one doesn't have a gain setting like the DS-2CD2032-I does, see the pic, so the images are slightly different... The default user names are the same, admin, but the new one has 123456789abc for the default password.. My cameras are mounted on the second story looking down and out so there was a need for supplemental lighting at night.. There is quite a bit of customization to optimize these cameras for your network bandwidth... The mounting and especially the adjustments are some of the easiest to do...

Had several of these but they keep going out. Still, have a few of them and while they are better than the no-names we have begun moving to Riolink cameras because the newer Riolinks, while not perfect are a better price and don't require the annoying browser plugins that most other cameras do.

Very good image quality for the price
Very good image quality for the price. IR works fine. I have one of these mounted outdoor with direct rain exposure since last year and no problems at all. I manage a professional CCTV system at work using lots of cameras from serious brands like Axis, Pelco, Vivotek and so on. I decided to try Dahua and HIKVision cameras for my home security system and HIKVision turned out to be my favorites.

User guide and maunal all in Chinese, not one work of English. Also the default password doesnt work so I am not even able to connect the camera to my NVR. If I get past this problem then I can post an updated review. I have used a lot of Hikvision cameras but never had this issue before. Hope it doent end up just being a paperweight.

So far so good.
Camera seems to be working great, has pretty good night vision. The only issue I had was getting the IP address, After searching manuals online still to no avail. I contacted the seller and they pointed me to a tool to get and change the IP address of the camera's. Still have not been able to test them in the rain or high humidity.(...)-> SADP Tool v3.0.0.2

We had a hard time connecting the camera. There was no instruction came with the camera. In the end, my husband had to call the provider for instructions. Once connected, it works very well.
