The reviews are true. This does not leak. It works great and my bunny is able to drink from it. With that said, I do want to mention that I read that it's better for them to have a water dish to drink from as it's a more natural position to be in to drink. So I got my bunny a water bowl as well and I can see he prefers to drink from the bowl as it's always empty first. I think it's a good idea to have both, in that way they never run out of water.

I had a glass, larger, brand name water feeder in my lovebird’s cage previously. It dripped constantly, causing a mold issue if I didn’t stay on it all of the time. I couldn’t take it anymore! Needed a lick roller like this one so she doesn’t make a nasty, green soup. This product is AWESOME! Lightweight, doesn’t bend the cage bars. Spout is angled just right so there isn’t a lot of pressure to cause dripping, and the roller ball is nicely sealed. My bird went for a good drink as soon as I put it in the cage. (Which installing was SOOOO easy!) Yes, Choco Nose, your efforts have paid off immediately in my pet’s life. Thank you!

The water bottle is the best we’ve tried yet. Our rabbits love them and they do not leak and drip like other kinds. Also a plus that most bottles fit in case you need a larger amount of water. Overall very happy with our purchases

Seems like they are good for not leaking but the bottles are very small

I have bought many water bottles over the past five years of owning guinea pigs and this is one of the first water bottle that did not leak or drip that I purchase. It's very easy to attach to the cage and it tightens nicely so it won't fall off the cage. It is quite small and doesn't hold much water but the question is do you want a large water bottle that leaks or a small water bottle that doesn't leak. I use blankets for my guinea pigs bedding and using this water bottle has helped keep these blankets nice and dry.

Bought the Living Well cage set for our new piggies but had to replace the water bottle that came with it to prevent dripping, contact the customer service for a replacement bottle, but guess what, the replacement bottle that looks to be sold individually also drips!!! Local Petco manager recommended another popular water bottle brand with a cute yellow ducky floating inside bottle as waterline indicator, super cute, but had to return cuz it "drips". VERY Frustrated.Searched and read many amazon reviews so i got this Choco Nose water bottle, IT LIVES TO ITS NAME WITH NO-DRIP!! Curious enough so I read the user manual that came in the box, it is Made in Taiwan! Another country that has phenomenal craftsmanship. Felt like hitting a jackpot after the hunt!Many Amazon reviews claimed that the bottle being "too small" but the manual explains the bottle can be easily replaced with any other ordinary water bottle in various sized as long as the cap can be tightly closed, perhaps someone has 2 liter soft drink bottle handy to give it a try??Another thing that i noticed to be well designed was the fixture that holds the bottle to be solid and easy cage attachment. This is indeed one of the few great and well made items sold through Amazon, HIGHLY RECOMMANDED.

I bought this for my guinea pig to replace a water bottle that would drip non-stop. I've had this product for a year now and it hasn't leaked so I'm happy about that. However, there are a few design flaws that make me wish I went with a different water bottle.First, the grooves on the screw-on bracket are designed for a cage with vertical bars. My guinea pig's cage has horizontal bars so this water bottle wouldn't stay on. I was able to take the mounting system off of the old water bottle to make this one work, but it would have been nice if I knew this would be an issue before ordering.Second, and more importantly, the small stainless steel ball sticks after refilling and completely restricts the flow of water. They do say on their listing that it's important to tap the ball after refilling to ensure that water comes out properly. Unfortunately, I missed doing this one time and didn't realize that my guinea pig didn't get water for several days, which resulted in a near-death and expensive vet visit. This was ultimately my fault since I was just checking to make sure he had water and failed to realize that he wasn't getting any, but it also seems to be a pretty significant design issue.Finally, while this water bottle doesn't leak, it also seems to lack a good flow of water. My guinea pig sometimes struggles to get a sufficient amount of water at times even though I regularly clean and refill this bottle.This is a decent option if you're looking for a water bottle that doesn't leak and you're good about checking to make sure the water is flowing well. Avoid buying if you want something that's lower maintenance or if your cage doesn't have vertical bars.

Awesome bottle,easy to remove and fill, I have bought a ton of bottles over the years and all of them leaked but I have had this one for weeks it is amazing and never leaks. The metal drinking spout is very sturdy and thick, great quality. I have 3 guinea pigs and I do have to fill twice a day because it is a little small have not noticed any dehydration in my piggies so they must by able to drink easily. Totally recommend.

We have tried tons of brands and they all leak. This one does not! A few months of use to be sure and still leak free! Have now purchased 3 and they are all great!

No more dripping! Good quality, quite sturdy. Easy to clean and assemble. Good size.

Just ordering number two now as this is the first one with little drip. The guinea pigs still spill some when they drink, so it’s above a container in my cage hut it is by far the most dry drinking unit I’ve tried.Need two as the piggies finish one bottle in under 24h atm so want a backuo if they need it.

The clip on which water bottle sits on is easily broken.
