LS2 Helmets HH568 Half Helmet (Solid Pearl White, Small)

LS2 is not a brand that you will find in many stores but their helmets are very nice for the money. The fiberglass shell is noticeably lighter than plastic. Good air flow, nice features, well constructed. The sizing seems about right on. Mine fits tight because my head size is on the upper end of the size, but I didn't want a hemet that wobbled on my head.. Probably best to go a size up if you're at the upper end of the the recommended size (for the price, I'm going to buy an XL, as well, so I can wear a skull cap or balaclava in the winter since I ride all year round). Great helmet, just wish more dealers carried them!

This is my second LS2 helmet purchase. I have a Strobe modular and I love it. I ordered this helmet because I was looking for a half helmet for summer riding and the price caught my eye. This helmet has a removable lining that makes it super easy to maintain, a 3 snap removable visor/peak and a zip off ear/neck warmer that has velcro pockets, where you can install speakers, for your bluetooth or MP3 player. I like the racheting quick release closure for the chinstrap that makes getting the helmet on and off a breeze. Everyone no longer has to wait around, while you thread your strap through antiquated "D"rings. The vents on the front of the helmet are screened as well, to prevent insects and other debris from entering. I ordered the pearl white and found the finish to be really smooth with no overspray or "orange peel." There are a few down sides to this helmet but they are minimal. The quick release ratchet does have a tendency to pinch if it is adjusted too tightly and the helmet can be a little tight around the ears when glasses are worn. I'm sure over time this will subside as the helmet breaks in. Check LS2's website for sizing info before ordering. I purchased the medium and found it to be a little more snug than my other helmet, but that's probably because it is new. All things considered, this is a great helmet for the price point. I am definitely going to order another one before they are all gone.

This is a well built helmet and fits my large dome well. I've had a ton of problems finding helmets to fit my head. My head measures 7.75" which for most helmets is a 2xl. The HH568 in 2xl fits my head well. Several other brands like skid lid aren't even close in 2xl. All these helmet manufacturers fit differently so buyer beware. As for the features, I like the quick latch/release feature. It works well. Have not tried the neck warmer since it's summer but I'll probably try it soon.

For the price, you can't beat this helmet. It could use some extra padding at the top of the head but all in all, I feel I got what I paid for and then some. I cannot believe that a helmet this good cost only $20.00. What I like most about is the easy release under the chin. You just snap it in place to put on the helmet and pull a tap to release it when you are ready to take it off. I love this helmet. A great helmet for that unexpected passenger or merely a trip to the local grocery store.

Haven’t rode with it yet but seems comfortable,Other than the chin strap seems a bit uncomfortable,maybe it will break in, I think I’ll have to put some sort of padding around it,Can’t beat the price!!, I usually wear a full face, but bought this for those hot summer days

If you are looking for a well constructed, comfortable half helmet then your search ends here. LS2 Helmets has scored a home run with their HH568 lid. Quick release strap, visor, and dual vents nicely complement the helmet. I've worn it for just under 300 miles and I am quite impressed. Far exceeded my expectations and you can't beat the price!!

The fit is nice though it feels a smidge looser than other new helmets in a similar size. Quality is high and the latch is a great value. I'm not sure why all helmets don't have this type of release. The air vents seem useless. I've a shaved head and feel no difference with the vents open or closed.

Although the helmet's circumference fits just fine the depth is overwhelming. The front rim comes down just below my eyebrows not allowing me full vision.
