I bought these to attach some floor cabinets together. They come in different lengths. I had one cabinet that was set back, and in doing so, the front frames of the cabinets no longer collided, hence the spacing was shorter.These bottomed out when screwing them together on that one cabinet. Everywhere else they were the right length. I tried cutting the screw and failed. They are a very hard material!I had to put washers under the heads instead. That worked.

I used these for making luggage tags with leather straps. Looks and works great.

We bought some shelving units that were meant to stand right next to each other. Clamped the 2 adjacent vertical pieces together, then used these screws to hold them together. Worked perfectly!

I used 4 of these as hinge pins for a folding rack and it came out quite nicely (see pic). The rack is to hold a canvas firewood carrier, and I unfold the arms to set the carrier in when I get it inside to keep the firewood in one place. It’s a simple thing but the hidden bolts give it a nice clean look, and the arms of the rack fold right down over the heads. Neat, clean, simple.

I recently bought a Trenton Gifts Armchair Lever Extender | Black (New)By mistake I broke one of the bolts. No problem I said to myself... (yes I must confess I sometimes speak to myself)... I will buy another at Home depot. Surprise, they did not have it. (It is a rare model: a Chicago metric bolt)Will Amazon be able to help me ? Yes they sell bolts. I used these to install drawer slides and they got the job done but I did strip quite a few. I was using an impact drill to snug these down and as soon as things got slightly tight they stripped.

But the head is not nearly as large as what I was looking for. If you need a large surface area these aren't them.
