plaeUnisex-Child Mimo Water Shoe

We previously owned Natives and they did not work well for my little boy's high arches. He can easily fit his feet into these Plae shoes. He has worn them daily for over a month and they are in excellent condition still - super easy to clean and comfy for him to run around in the hot summertime!

Great alternative to Natives! I’ve loved buying my kids Natives in the past, but once my son was in the youth sizes, they were way too big and flopped off the back of his heel constantly. Switched to these bc you can get them nice and snug. He can run around the neighborhood as well as he can in tennis shoes - without fear of them getting wet or stinky. No issues with blisters either! He loves them! I’d stick with Natives for 4 & under bc they fit well in the smaller sizes and preschoolers can put them on themselves. But if Natives don’t work, a great option!

love love love these things! Buying a pair for my adult self as soon as I find them :-) Granddaughter loves them too. Seriously light weight shoes!!! the straps come off so they can slip them on and off quickly. Great as water shoes or just good summer shoes. Color is very fun. Not a lot of support but you should figure that by looking at them......

Bought the size 2 for my 6 year old boy. We like the convenience of Crocs but they always seem to rub his feet wrong. These are the same type of material but a little nicer looking and no complaints about blisters. He doesn't like wearing sandals in the summer because mulch gets in them, but I don't like him to wear sneakers if he's going stomping in creeks and puddles. These are perfect! You can get them wet, hose them off if they're dirty, and wipe clean. And bonus, they come in fun colors. I will buy them again next year.

These shoes are so versatile. We used to be crocs fans but I notice that my son would trip and fall in the crocs because of the shape of the footbed so we tried these out. He is a very athletic toddler and these shoes do not slow him down. They are lightweight and flexible and allow him to run, jump, climb, etc... the Velcro opening make them really easy to put on. My son will take his shoes off and run around in the grass and sand then out his shoes back on and get the insides nasty but these shoes I can just throw in with the laundry and the come out like new. We are on our second pair.

It’s the worst, don’t buy it.It gave my son his first blisters, not even a blister it took all skin off from his both feet.Ordered Native Jefferson right away and retuned these. I was so excited to try this brand for the first time but never again. I am so mad... applying neosporine trying to dry it but afraid also he might get an infection. It’s been two days and he says it hurts, can not stand on his feet properly.

I have a very hard time finding shoes wide and tall enough for my 3yr old...especially water shoes when they are wet. These shoes fit awesome! The sides and tongue open really wide. My son loved them immediately and wanted to wear them all the time. I’m taking off a star for two reasons. The white edging at the toes wore off almost immediately because my son uses his toes to stop his balance bike. They also gave him a blister on the side of one foot. Since he still wanted to wear them, he wore a bandaid and sock with the one shoe for about 10 days until it healed.

My son is rough and wild but loves water play. These shoes are durable and easy to clean. They are great for water and mud play but still protecting toes. They have great traction so no worries of slipping on wet splash pad floored. The shoe is sturdy and they are easy to get on and off.
