Cretesheet Concrete Mixing Sheet

I don't have a lot of concrete work I need to do...but this did the trick for what I do need to do. Instead of renting a mixer or purchasing one, I bought this and it was so easy my wife and I were able to do it no problem. The trick is to try to mix the aggregate, sand and cement dry and then add your water. It helps to have a third person to pour the water in...we just grabbed one of the children. We were sloshing it back and forth until we had the right consistency...it pours right out, let the rest dry, fold it around a bit and the concrete and crud chips off and cleans right up...fold it up and it's out of the way and ready for the next use. Couldn't be happier...does what it says it will do.

First in all fairness, maybe if using only small bags of cement, this thing might be ok, but using 80 lb bags does not work at all. I did manage to mix one 80 lb bag in it befor it ripped. Motar spilling everywhere. A wheelbarrow and hoe is much less frustrating.

This concrete mixing sheet is not worth it. A reinforced tarp costs far less and wouldn't develope holes after 10 bags of ready mix.

I used the product with one other person to mix concrete in an isolated basement area that could not fit a mechanical mixer. The sheet worked well and the concrete mixed easily. I was concerned about the durability of the handles, but that was not a problem. The only difficulty was that it was hard to keep the water from running off the sheet if the full load of water was added at once. This was solved by adding half the water, mixing for a half minute, and then adding the rest of the water. Not a big deal.

Worked great. I was working along setting posts for my road gate. Hooked two of the handles over the toothbar of my tractor and I worked the other two. Mixed ten 60 pound bags of concrete in about 90 minutes, including breaks. Didn't have extra water for cleanup, so I let the concrete dry and it flacked off when I folded it.

One of the four handles ripped off immediately. I was able to mix about 27 sacks of 80# sacrete before the bottom ripped out.Mixing the concrete was fairly easily before the product completely failed. The theory of the product is great, the quality of construction is terrible.

Just got back from Zambia where we used a cretesheet to mix concrete for some sidewalk and curbing work at our school there. Used one for three days and it worked great before we finally wore it out (one handle broke off and a couple of hole appeared). The product worked great. Highly recommend it.

My wife and I had no problems using this product. Use 80% of the water, mix, then add the rest, mix (like we saw in the blog). Worked as advertised. Enough said.
