We were super excited to get our coffee maker and once we received it we immediately plugged it in and it began to smoke my whole house began smelling like an electrical fire and we had to unplug it run it outside and it still was smoking. Buyer beware.

I almost didn’t buy this coffee maker due to the lack of reviews (I think I'm the first one) but I’m glad I took the risk, this inexpensive single mug coffee maker is excellent. The quality of the materials is excellent - heavy-duty plastic, sturdy construction, and stylish. It makes very good, hot coffee in a couple of minutes max. (The water temperature is hot enough to really draw out the coffee bean flavor.) The additional pod insert adds another level of convenience -- you can brew your own coffee grounds from a bag, which saves money, and gives you greater flexibility to make a stronger cup of joe by increasing the amount of grounds. For the price, this is an excellent, simple machine which makes great coffee and doesn’t take up much room on the counter. If anything goes wrong with this machine, I'll update my review -- but so far, I'm really pleased.

The item arrived in it’s Original packaging however had obviously been used before as there was water in the reservoir coffee filter cup and spilled a cup. After rinsing thoroughly I decided to test the machine there was a burning smell coming from the top of the machine and it was smoking.

Small footprint on the countertop. Works great and is easy to use.

I purchased this roughly 18 months ago, and it worked great while it lasted. Unfortunately the last few days we have been smelling "burning" coming from it and the lighting on it has flickered some so I fear it won't be able to be used much longer.

Great little single serve coffee maker. My only issue is that if you throw the directions out, (like I did), there is no way to learn how to adjust the amount of coffee going into the cup. In other words, you can teach the maker how much coffee to dispense depending on the size of the cup. After you have the pot for awhile, it is hard to remember how to change it because it is kind of tricky. But it works great and I love the color.

I did not like this coffee pot. A small coffee mug would not fit. I had to use a styro foam cup and transfer to my mug. The coffee tasted nasty and seemed to be watery. Would not recommend for everyday use.
