A pretty good Mill Creek set
I'm hooked on these 50-movie Mill Creek/Treeline dvd sets. I own 17 and plan to own many more! They are an unbeatable mix of the unexpected, the silly, the rare, and the hilarious. These are bad movies - possibly the best/worst of the bad movies - all at once, mixed up in a bucket, about 4 movies for $1.Yes, the video quality is mixed. Yes, many of these seem to be transferred from VHS sources. Yes, some movies are edited, and yes, sometimes the sound quality isn't ideal. If any of this bothers you, do not buy a 50-movie pack. You will need to pay a little more for individual dvds."Sensational Sixties" is a pretty good set, all over the map. Plenty of good, bad, laughable, and of-the-times movies here. Several made-for-tv things. Many Italian and a few Spanish films. This set leans heavily on famous actors, mostly before their fame. Ann-Margaret as a brat with black hair. William Shatner as a pair of half- Native American twins. Dennis Hopper as a young sailor in love with a mermaid. Jack Nicholson as a young ruffian. Johnnny Cash as, well, a young ruffian. It's all here. The set kicks off with "Bloody Pit Of Horror", which is honestly the funniest thing ever: several Italian fashion models, looking for a castle to use as a backdrop for s&m-style photos, find themselves imprisoned in a dungeon by a reclusive bodybuilder who thinks he's the Marquis De Sade. "The Nasty Rabbit" (with Arch Hall Jr.) and "The Fat Spy" (with Jayne Mansfield) make an intensely weird '60s Cold War comedy double bill, and you can throw in "Wake Me When The War Is Over" (with Eva Gabor) for tasteless WWII comedy. A surprising number of serious action and war films here, such as the excellent "Desert Commandos". Westerns. Gladiators. Biker movies. Biblical things. "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians". "Sandy The Seal". Endless movieland fun.Not too many truly "good" films here, though "The Reluctant Saint" (with Ricardo Montalban) and "Two Women" (with Sophia Loren) are both great. Most everything here is G or PG rated, safe for kids. There are several repeats here from other Mill Creek sets: "Anatomy Of A Psycho", "Bloody Pit Of Horror", "Constantine And The Cross", "Dangerous Charter", "The Fat Spy", "Manster", "The Sadist", and probably others. Look at the listing before buying.Overall, if you like weird old trash, this is a good buy. Lots of surprises, and lots of laughs. I love it!

Mill Creek Brings you those shlock movies of the 60's.
Remember the movie of the week, how about that Sunday night movie, or later in the 70's the late night movie, that last movie after the late night shows have ended. They are all here in this set and the other sets from the 70's, 40's, 80's, etc. If you really want to see them just to watch them, they are all public domain and on other Mill Creek sets, but if you want to own them in style, in a set labeled the sixties, this is the set for you. You get stars like Bill Shatner (after Star Trek), Lee Majors, James Brolin, Joan Collins, Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson, Sophia Loren, Vincent Price and Claudia Cardinale. OK, I cut and pasted that last part and I have no idea who Claudine Cardinale is. But, you catch my drift here. Look, are these the movies that made the movie companies Emmy's or Oscars, no way. But, they are memorable non the less. In this set you will find some great movies, some good movies, some so so movies, and some terrible movies. But, hey, it's Mill Creek, so what is the big surprise that you might find a great movie is the only surprise here. There is a reason these movies fell into public domain and it was not their mass appeal. They are however enjoyable. So, get the set, tell em' Ralph suggested it if you like.Ralph J. Fitcher

Can't go wrong with the 50 packs!
You can't go wrong with any of the 50 packs! You may get a couple of duds, but who cares! Show me a better deal! Some reviews mentioned picture or sound quality being an issue. Hey! This is before they had dolby, hi-fi and all that! I assume most of the negative reviews come from younger folks who were raised on HD TV! I haven't had any problem listening or watching any of these movies! Sure there are a few places where there might have been a film splice, or the sound may be less than 2015 standards, but it's nothing that's really going to bother anyone except for the spoiled younger generation! I own close to 20 of these 50 packs and I'm glad I bought every single one of them!

Not what they advertise.
Nothing sensational about the movies. They are B movies -talk about misleading advertising. Also, the recording quality is very bad.
