Very good and heavy thermometer. Easy to read and install, comes with 2 sets of O-Rings to fit your application. Worth the money

I purchased this for my brew kettle. It mounted very easily using the washers and hardware provided. The thermometer has an adjustment screw on the back to use for calibration. I was able to calibrate it using cold water and my digital thermometer. The face is large and very easy to read. I’ve yet to use it while brewing, but am confident it will perform well. It does not come with any instructions.

I had one of these thermometer’s fail after a year. The “hermetical seal” failed and the the temp read 100 degrees continuously. I emailed the seller and they sent me a new one with in a week! No charge!!Great seller!!!

Used this item for garage freezer. Placed in out of way location and easy to read from a distance.

This thermometer is well made of all stainless steel. It has some heft to it so you know that is no tin metal. I tested accuracy with a digital thermometer and it was spot on. It has a adjustment screw on the back too in case it needs to be calibrated down the line.

I was a little concerned when I received this thermometer because I thought the design for mounting may make it leak on my brew kettle where I had drilled a hole in the brew kettle for mounting. Because there are metal washers on both sides, instead of a welded seat on one side, I thought that would allow liquid to flow down the threads and bypass the rubber washers (you get 4). So I used significant Teflon pipe tape on the threads, and did not have an issue.

Checked in boiling water it was bang on at 212 degrees..... live at sea level. The O ring is sealed perfectly.

The item arrived promptly and though packaging had been damaged, it was undamaged. The thermometer was accurate out of the box and appears to be very good quality and easily read.Though i am yet to use it for purpose, there is every good reason to expect it will work well and be a long lasting and useful device, it is very well made and much superior to the unit i have been using up until now. I am very happy with this purchase ! thank you.

Very accurate and beefy design. Had to ream out the smaller hole in my still lid, but no problem.
