FJMSecurity 0248-KA, Single Glass Door Lock with Chrome Finish, Keyed Alike

Got this to replace an almost identical unit for which I had lost the key. Worked perfectly. This is for cabinets with all glass doors. It mounts to one door at the bottom, and has a flange that holds the other door in place when the lock is locked. So the strike plate must be installed in an offset position - not dead center where the doors meet.Finish is good. Lock has a pleasant heft to it. Properly rubber padded where it meets the glass.

Threre is no instructions, and THIS IS NOT WORK WITH COASTER HOME FURNISHINGS!!!! I dont know why Amazon put this lock with Coaster together. What I know is this product don't have any problem, but this is just not work with my glass door.

Great lock, very solid. As other reviewers mention, no screws for strike plate, but other than that very happy (see pic).One caveat, description doesn't mention the minimum glass width. Mine is 1/8", and the lock screws weren't long enough to grip, so I had to add some pad (about 1/16") between the lock and glass to get it to grip well. No big deal.

These locks are now on my display cases in my shop, and they work very well, I love having everything on the same key it's very helpful. However it did not state specificly that they were for the bottom of a glass door, there was a lip of metal preventing us from attaching it to the side of the door where we wanted it. My husband was able to remove it so we are using the locks how we wanted to, and they work well, but I think the discription could have been more clear.

I seems to be just what we needed. I would have given it 5 stars if the it had come with screws and instructions. A template would have been helpful. I am not sure if screws for the plate were missing or just not included. Couldn't find a way to find out if the screws should have been included or not. We just purchased some.

I used this as a child-proofing measure for a cabinet with double glass doors; the only thing to keep in mind is that if you have a cabinet with magnetic catches, there may not be room for this lock at the top of the doors. I ended up installing it at the bottom because it has to be positioned to overhang one door. Other than that it seems to be of good quality.

We got this to keep our 2 year old twins out of our entertainment center. It was super easy to install ( I installed it myself and I'm not very handy with things like this) and works well. I would definitely recommend product! We've been using it for about 3 months now.

Good quality. Works great on the stand up glass display case I got from IKEA.
