Attractive mugs, however, just made a cuppa and one mug cracked open as hot water was poured into it. Mug is just over one year old, shame, especially as not cheap option.

I bought these to match the Doulton cereal bowls I purchased the night before. The size and quality of these mugs is absolutely perfect - much larger than the Denby mugs I was using before. You can have a "proper" cup of tea or coffee with these Doulton mugs and the mug is nice and strong.

These huge cups are so beautiful they were one of my birthday wish list things.I didn't used to care about things like cups - as long as it held my tea or coffee, I was happy as a clam. But then a few years ago I saw the first iteration of these Royal Doulton mugs and fell in love. It's a large, slightly handmade-looking, two-tone mug - weighty and solid and beautiful. It's white, with a powder grey dipped glaze, and I slowly swapped out most of our mugs for those, so we ended up with 6 of them.Royal Doulton have been extending the Coffee Studio range, so when I saw this set of 4 mugs, I got the needs and I'm a very lucky girl because I got them for my birthday. And they are beautiful in person.One is the same powder grey; one is a slightly darker storm-grey; one is navy, and one is a pale-ish terracotta burgundy... just beautiful!They hold over 500ml - I can fit nearly two cans of Pepsi Max in one cup (no ice, though) so if you're on a thirst, or if you love a massive mug of tea or coffee, this is the mug for you.It's absolutely gorgeous in person; it can be microwaved or put in the dish-washer; they're hardy and well made (the first one I got years ago is still in perfect condition), and they're almost comically cheap considering how perfect they are.Love them. Got 10 mugs now... must buy more.

We like a big mug of tea but out of a quality, preferably Bone China mug. Having broken or chipped too many of our twenty year old mugs I began looking for some replacements two years ago. It has taken me this long to find something suitable. They hold 500ml, which suits us fine, look attractive and are nice to hold and drink from. I have since purchased another 4 and as they have been reduced in price am thinking of buying a further 4, which will give us replacements in case of breakages. The only drawback is the cost, but if they last us another 20 years they will be good value.

These are a great size and don't break or chip easily, like cheaper mugs.

Inaccurate Product DescriptionAmazon, and many other sites, need to amend the description of the Royal Doulton Coffee Studio Grande Mugs as the capacity is not 560ml. The official Royal Doulton website states the capacity is 500ml. On checking the capacity of these mugs myself I found 500ml fills the mugs almost to the brim.The mugs are excellent quality and a good size for a coffee/tea lover.Items were well packed and arrived in under 24hours of ordering with Prime.

These are great. Easy to wash, large coffee mugs. Nice to hold and look sleek.
