One of the best gaming mice you can buy right now.
1600dpi step = ~1500, 800 step = 740-7643-4m/s tracking speed with 2 sets of mouse feet.Tracks on 2 CDs with double mouse feet (back of mouse on CDs, front touching mouse pad). Doesn't track on 3. Mousepad color doesn't seem to affect lod.Cord is a little heavy & stiff for such a light mouseThe 3090 implementation is a lot better than Zowie's. There is no inaccuracy on the desktop, and the FPS game performance is better as well. Feels on par with the KPM sensor, though a bit different.Doesn't feel as artificially processed as a lot of other mice, but does feel a bit off. One possible factor could be that the DPI value varies each time you measure by a range of around 25.For some reason this mouse doesn't cramp my hand nearly as much as the FK1 even though at its widest it's the same width as the FK1 is at its thinnest. Only thing I can think of is that maybe it has to do with how the FK1 goes from wider in the back to thinner in the middle. Which forces an unnatural contortion in palm grip. The fact that my fingers literally go over the front of the mouse and touch the mousepad in front, doesn't bother me that much. The overall shape is really good, but the mouse is too thin for me and others to comfortably palm.Middle button too stiff to the point where I often accidentally scroll the wheel when I'm trying to press it. And too far back, so I can't scroll it with my middle finger. Some people have complained that their scroll wheels have no noticeable notches. Mine does though, so there are likely quality control issues with this mouse. The clicks feels pretty cheap, stiff/non-clicky, and a bit too hard to press. There's a somewhat minor bug when pressing both buttons at the same time: http://www.overclock.net/t/1240739/bsts-gaming-mouse/2400_50#post_23385319Coating is nice for both dry and sweaty hands. Rubber on top, textured plastic on sides. At default it malfunctions much easier than my 3.0 even though it's supposed to track twice as fast. But adding the extra set of mouse feet that come in the box fixes the problem. In comparison with the KPM, the KPM has better build quality, aurora has a much better shape in my opinion, aurora is 20g lighter, weight balance is better, but lacks the native 50cpi increments.Link to video review in the comments.Rank of mice I've recently tested:1. 3.02. KPM, aurora3. avior7000 (got new firmware update I was unable to test because I'd already returned it. New update might increase rank.)4. all the rest

GREAT concept, mediocre implementation
the best mouse i've ever used. it has everything, the only issues are: poor quality control (a perfect aurora would be the perfect mouse) and poor customer service/support. the drivers are known to randomly cause the sensor to have its maximum tracking speed become unusably low (<1 m/s.) knowing this going in, i didn't install the drivers and haven't had any such problem with the mouse. the button height issue is extremely annoying and when i tried fixing it, i ended up causing my left click to become very flimsy and squishy feeling, which is unfortunate. my back button also randomly stopped working 100% after a couple of weeks and i had to put a piece of tape on it to depress the switch further and make it actuate every time. you can push the back button by squeezing the bottom half of the shell. the top half of the shell on my mouse doesn't connect with the bottom half right (they aren't aligned properly vertically) which creates a sharp edge on the left side of the mouse when moving your thumb down the left side of the shell or up the right side. the scroll wheel is also not perfectly flush which is pretty annoying, and the delay between clicks is a problem for some people if you need to click two buttons simultaneously. if all of these relatively small issues were fixed i would buy another in an instant. i feel like i can't misclick. this is the best feeling sensor i've ever used out of: intellimouse 1.1, da 3.5g, logitech g100s, and logitech mx518.the shape, combined with the weight, sensor, and amazing side buttons give this mouse the potential to be the best, but the poor build quality, customer service, and software really drag it down. i hope to see a v2 some day with all of these issues remedied.

- Perfect shape for my fingertip grip - Perfect Weight (70g) ...
Pros:- Perfect shape for my fingertip grip- Perfect Weight (70g)- Good weight distribution.- Awesome 3090 sensor with low lift off distance, no smoothing, no acceleration, no angle snapping.Cons:- Limited DPI increments (400-800-1600-3200-4000)- Thick & hard cable.- While using 1000 hz polling rate, mouse-test shows it only reaches 950 to 970 hz.- Quality of Left & Right click switch is mediocre compared to competitors. (so I ended up choosing Logitech g302 even though I prefer the shape of Ninox)In contrast, I previously tested the following Optical mice:Razer Abyssus: Used it for 2 years, awesome mouse but only works best on classic Goliathus Control mousepad.Razer DeathAdder: Awesome sensor but too bulky & heavy for my fingertip gripAvior 7000: Godlike sensor but too bulky & heavy for my fingertip gripSteelSeries Rival: Godlike sensor but too bulky & heavy for my fingertip gripLogitech g100s: Awesome sensor but buttons are too mushy I accidentally double click a lot.Logitech g302 Daedalus: I chose this despite the weird shape because of the GODLIKE button switches w/ metal spring (soft as Omron but more tactile)
