Plants and Flowers: 1761 Illustrations for Artists and Designers (Dover Pictorial Archive)

Very unhappy.. ordered in March and just took out to look up some plants for illustration. As u can see the contents says index of common names us on 279.. last page of the book is 278!!! There are Latin names on 285.. this is brand new and there are no pages torn out... requesting a refund or replacement. Impossible to look through over 1000 illustrations to find the one you want!

I bought this book after borrowing it from the library. It has wonderful illustrations, and I thought it would be great to have as a reference. When the new book showed up, it is completely missing the two indexes in the back for looking up common and latin names for plants.

Very nice book. I like to do pen and watercolor sketches and this has been a beautiful guide.

Good assortment. Nice clean black lines. Very realistic illustrations. Easy to use for artwork. Worth having in a clip art library.

I think I would like this book much more if it wasn't so flimsy. I know its a soft cover but at least the bound could have been a bit more sturdy, everyime I open it the whole book bends and twists a lot. Brighter paper would have been nicer too, but that's just me being picky I guess. The prints do its job, you get to see a LOT of flower and plant drawings, I am sure a lot of people will be satisfied with the amount of pictures and informations you get with this book.
