Looking at the price, I wasn't too sure - seemed awfully expensive for travel chopsticks. However, these are exactly what I needed. The more I read about how the "disposable" wooden chopsticks used in American restaurants are made, the less I want to put them anywhere near my mouth. A perfect solution. Small enough to fit in the average small purse - or even a back pocket - and because of the design, easy to wash off and dry and put back right after eating.I'm actually going to buy another pair right now for my partner.Update: I cannot speak highly enough about these. They work, technically, but the surface is quite slippery. I had to apply a *lot* of pressure to hold basic foods.You know what's not fun? Eating while having to grip disproportionately hard.It's very hard to recommend this when chopsticks aren't that bulky anyway. You're better off just buying Korean style flat metal chopsticks and traveling with those.

Initially, I was worried about non-screwing ends. Pleasantly surprised to discover that tension method seems better. Easy maintenance, and fully functional. If I had a complaint, (and this is not one) it would be that they get a little bendy if you get a little aggressive with them. But as the plastic tips mean they are NOT for cooking anyway... No complaints! Easy recommend!

Love these. They are a bit pricey, but I find myself using these over the cheap ones from daiso because they are so much easier to carry. You don't have to worry about a carrying case and they come with their own chopstick rest. They are very light and easy to clean. I like that it is a mix of metal with silicone tips. They are not as robust as the metal chopsticks I usually use, but they are also way easier to travel with.

This is a quality set. They fit together tightly and snap solidly into the holder/chopstick stand. After my wife saw me using them this weekend when we went to a Chinese restaurant, she wants a set too. The only thing I want to warn people about before they buy these is that they are not for beginners! These are the slickest chopsticks I have ever used; even more so than polished stainless steel. Some things are a challenge to pick up as they just want to slide out. This is not a negative -- just a warning. If you know how to use them, they will do fine.

Have been using these a few months now and am totally happy.Easy carry, pieces don't shake loose and easy to clean.I have several of these sticks and keep them where I need them (car, work, dining table).

Great materials, cleans nicely. Impresses everyone.Only complaint is the lock mechanism.It uses tension to hold the inner sticks instead of threading. As such after repeat use your sticks might collapse on you, unexpectedly.

Works very well when I use it. Do note that the tips of these chopsticks are made of plastic, so you need to have good grip when you grab your food. Not for the less advanced.
