If you need solid teaching on tongues for today and need to get it nailed down once and for all, this book is for you.Glenn quotes John G, Lake, healing evangelist: "The making of my ministry is from speaking in tongues." I had the privilege of viewing Glenn Arekion interviewed by Sid Roth on the 'It's Supernatural' streaming Internet video. I was impressed with his testimony and tangible amazing results of praying in divine languages. Although I received my prayer language in 1978, I found that I seldom entered into this unique form of prayer unless a crisis arose. It always lead to a sense of peace, and wisdom to deal with whatever the issue may have been; truly remarkable.With this book and another by Dave Roberson entitled "The Walk of the Spirit, The Walk of Power", I have found strong encouragement to pray in tongues daily to build myself up spiritually, as well as to be used of GOD in 'secret' prayer for the needs of many others throughout the world. This in no way diminishes my responsibility to pray specifically in English and Spanish for needs that become apparent, but when we get to the end of ourselves and our limited understanding of the ultimate reality of situations, needs, and circumstances- praying in tongues takes it to the next level.I initially came from a 'cessationist' background in theology that denied the contemporary reality of tongues. Thankfully our Lord Jesus Christ revealed the truth: the only one who wants to rob the children of the Kingdom of this incredible blessing is the adversary of our souls- because it does serious damage to him and his forces of darkness. This is powerful fully scripturally based. The review that says it is not is incorrect. It is substantiatied over and over through scripture. Anyone who cannot see that is deceived by the enemy who HATES this truth since it is a powerful weapon against him. Read it.. I sent it to everyone in my family who all have been taught against speaking in toungues as I had been for many years. This is the best book I have ever read about speaking in tounges. I have had my doubts too but now they are GONE through the truth of the Word and the full explanation in this book about why and how it works! READ it and share it!

Best book on the reasons why we should pray in tongues. It gives Biblical references for each point so it's not just the author's viewpoint. Praying in tongues is the perfect prayer because it comes with no doubt or fear, since it bypasses the natural mind. Praying in tongues with other believers is as unified as it gets on earth. And we cannot pray outside of God's will when it comes from our spirit which has been made 100% new in Christ Jesus. Get the book, and pray~! Your future depends on it~!

Excellent book! I was on a quest to learn more about praying in tongues and this made so many things clear to me. Very valuable information for anyone who is seeking. If you are as opposed as I was to the notion of speaking in tongues, due to total ignorance for sure, then this will clear things up for you. It's a tad repetitive in parts but no biggie ...perhaps the author employed that method for emphasis but it surely doesn't negate the message.

That being said, there were points that were made that I had never considered before that I found to be fantastic. It's an easy read, has great nuggets of truth...I think it's worth your time to read.

Glenn Arekion has covered all aspects of the value and benefits of praying in tongues in a clear and informative way that inspires you. This book will encourage you to build yourself up inwardly as you magnify God.

This book is too good for those who already have the gift of tongues but do not know the value in using it daily !

Been wanting this book for a while saw it on Amazon then got it on my iPad which was even better. Still have not had a chance to read it yet but looking forward to.
