The World According to Rick (A Rick and Morty Book)

It’s literally just random quotes from rick from the show. The art work is literally just a few drawings of a character. No backround or anything. I really hoped this would be a fun read or have some cool pictures or interesting things I haven’t seen or heard.

Small collection of quotes (not even the best ones) from the series (can read the “book” while waiting in the drive-thru) As with most disappointment reality did not meet expectation (or the other way around?) so that’s on me but it would have been cool if they had philosophical commentary from Dan and Justin. AIDS!

Like most others said, there really isn't anything special here. I preordered and I thought this was gonna be an original book with some new stuff in it, like some rant or commentary about stuff from Rick's point of view. It kinda is, but in the form of multiple quotes straight out of the show and I remembered most of them and which episodes they came from. I should've waited so I could've seen the reviews first and what this book was actually about. Maybe in the future I could look at this book and say, "oh yeah, I remember when he said that". But there's nothing original in this book and I was kind of disappointed... I really only gave it 3 stars cause I love Rick and Morty

Thought this would be in the realm of something like How to Archer, but instead found this book to be a lazy and apparently hastily put together collection of quotes from the show with nothing original. Save your money unless you need a smallish book to prop up a door or windowsill.

There is NO ORIGINAL TEXT in here, all quotes are straight from the show.Only a few pages have illustrations and of those only a few are original.80% of the pages are single quote on slightly a slightly colored background.The other 20% has a quote on 1 page, and a illustration on the other, most of which aren't original.This is a mediocre coffee table book at best.Edit: There is a tiny bit of original text (The introduction and the quotes on the back are original) and honestly the best parts of the book.

I completely agree with everyone who wrote a review here, except the moron who gave it 5 stars. I too was expecting a bigger book with lots of quotes, illustrations, a multiverse view from Rick other than what we already have heard from past episodes. ONE simple quote a page is all you get, if that much. Even the swear words which would give it some much needed hilarity and attitude. This poor excuse for an anticipated "original" book is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Do yourself a favor and shove two Mega Tree seeds up your #ss, its less painful than buying this book.

Very very disappointed. Just qoutes directly from the show. I pre-ordered and was charged $21 yet I see a day after it released it's already $14. Really now.

Waited for a bit for this ''book" to come out. And its just one liners from the show. Its not worth it, and I will be sending back.

I hate to say it because I love rick and morty, but what a load of rubbish, waste of £10. Random quotes in a random order. Download the ‘memes’ book for free and you’ll get better content, took about 10 minutes to finish the book due to the pages being pictures or half paragraphs.

Worth about GBP 2.

Compre este libro porque me Amazon me lo sugirio cuando iba a comprar la Guia para la Vida de Bart Simpson. Pense que seria algo similar a ese libro, con el humor caracteristico de la serie y contenido nuevo, inedito y arte especifico para el libro, pero no es asi: Es una recoleccion de frases de la serie con muy pocas ilustraciones.

Bien impreso y encuadernado. No me encantó porque no trae nada extra a lo que he visto en las caricaturas, pensé que sería algo similar a la guía para la vida de BJ Simpson, pero solo trae una frase por página y algunas ilustraciones.

Libro que recopila todas las frases de rick durante la serie, no trae imágenes ni datos que no hayas visto en la serieNo creo que realmente valga la pena

Un libro con las citas más chistosas de la serie, acomodadas por tema. Sólo lo recomiendo si eres muy fan. No es como el libro del sentido de la vida de Bart Simpson (no son chistes nuevos).

Not what I was expecting. It's a good read if you're in the bathroom. Short and forgettable. Just stick to the comic books.
