I Spy a Dinosaur's Eye (Scholastic Reader, Level 1)

Such a great book for kids younger! My 3 year old loves this book! The pictures are big enough for him to pick out the items to find! Small enough to travel with it! It’s good quality !

My nephew is just learning to read and he loved this for Christmas! ❤️

My 4 year old son is obsessed with these! Perfect for his age and I love that it has the picture next to the words of what they are seeking for. Keeps him entertained without having to tell him each individual item.

My 3 and 5 year old both love these books and beg to look at them before bed. Not too difficult for them, and they always find what they are "spying". I definitely recommend these for toddler and small kids. We actually have bought several in the series b/c they are just that engaging. The pages have lots of items, but are not so complicated that the "spied" item gets easily lost in the pictures. When the kids finally spot the item, they are always so proud of themselves and often argue over who found what first, or who can find which items. :) 5 stars all the way!

My son loved I Spy books! We bought this one used and it was a little more worn out than expected however it is still a great book and he enjoys finding things.

Words are big as are objects. Will be great for learning to read when the time comes.

Very good book. My daughter's love the I Spy books. The little paperbacks make it easy to take with us.

I had the originals for my daughter and have bought this for my grandchildren. Still great fun but more manageable for the younger ones.

I spy(Schiolastic Reader)は日本で通常の日本語で暮らしている親子の場合なら、子供が幼稚園児〜小学１くらいにいっしょに読めるものです。 親が英語を調べておいて読んでやって、子供に探させると、子供は親の言った音をまねして繰り返しながら探しますし、「何それ？」と聞いてきます。 写真がついているので、探すことは目でできます。 そこに英語音声を親の声でのせ、それを子供がくりかえす、という言語習得と同じような方法が読み聞かせによってできる本でした。 ただし、薄い本であること。文章は載っていない単語ばかりの本であること。これは知っておいてください。 あっと言う間に終わってしまいます。 我が家では幼稚園児（年中）と読みます。探して「あった！」と言えるのがうれしいのと、２度目以降はすでに知っているのですぐ見つけられるうれしさで、結構くりかえして読まされます。そのため５冊をまとめて買いました。 小学生向けに遊べるものが欲しいのですが、親が音を出す必要がありますし、それが何より良い刺激になります。耳から英語が基本なのですが、親もそこまで時間がなかったりしますので、絵本の読み聞かせや、親子で人生ゲームをしたり将棋をしたりする時間のある親子なら、これはオススメします。塾行くより絶対に良いです。親子時間は大切だ、と塾側は言いませんが、それは誤解です。第二次成長期（小学５，６〜）までは親子時間があって当然だと思います。

Great way to enhance pictorial memory in kids.. wish it was thicker though..

This has been an absolute hit with my little ones! They absolutely love searching for the hidden animals in the vibrant and engaging pictures. It's not only entertaining but also helps develop their observation and language skills. It's become a favorite bedtime story in our house, and we look forward to many more "I Spy" adventures together!
