Alpine R-S65C.2 6.5 Inch Component 2-Way Speakers (Pair)

I put these in my 07 corolla with the alpine w650 headunit and I do not have an amp for these and they still sound really good maybe not as bright as they could possible be but I can easily fix that with more power these things have amazing clarity and with no amp they take more power to run than the kickers that I had prior. On top of that my car had the option for tweeter but never had them as the base model econobox so adding them really brighten up everything and the woofers do need more power to really hear them but when I get that amp I only be more happy with this purchase. Now its time to replace the 6x9 in the rear with the same r s6x9 coaxial kit and get either the alpine power pack or maybe a decent 4 channel amp with the 12 inch sub it pairs perfectly with decent bass and clarity.

I have these hooked up in a 97 4Runner, and I'm thrilled with how these sound! Running off an audio control, 600.4 amp these things just SING! LOUD, crystal clear, I couldn't be happier!

I can't say enough about these. I bought them because they were being sold at a discount because the new r2 was released. The quality of this speaker see is phenomenal. The clarity is unmatched, it was great without an amp, and even better with one. Very cool looking, though nobody will ever see them. Size was perfect for what I needed, functionally perfect! Great bang for the buck!

Completely impressed with these speakers in my 2000 camaro SS. I've done a lot of car audio installs and on this car I didn't even need to break out the RTA gear. Tweeters are a bit hot so let them play for a few hours. I still ended up setting the tweeter crossovers -3db on both left and right front channels but was able to leave all equipment settings flat. Easiest install in terms of final setup I ever had. Looking forward to playing tunes again tomorrow.

Perfect for a budget build but if your a bass guy and willing to spend more money then I would suggest to get a sub these speakers don’t have much bass but do sound good they are worth it

I installed these in a 2001 Tacoma (front doors). They are not a direct replacement. Had to make some new mounting surfaces using half inch thick MDF boards. The sound is absolutely amazing! Set the crossovers to +3db setting which makes the sound really bright and really stand out. I can dial this back using the treble control on my receiver if desired. I have Alpine R series coax speakers in the rear doors and everything is driven by my Alpine CDA-7893 Receiver with the V-drive amplifiers (60 watts X 4) built in. Could not be more pleased with these speakers! I did not apply any sound deadening material to the doors and the sound is really great at highway speeds. Played some high quality R&B music thru these speakers and the bass is so strong and tight that I don't even need to add a subwoofer. Which is great because there is no place to put one in this truck. Try these, you will not be disappointed.

Came in great shape, and on time. I can't believe how great these sound. I actully had one installed and it sounded better than all the old speakers in my car. Best speaker good price thank you!

I bought theses speakers for my work van and they rock. I suggest driving these speakers with an amp to get full sound.

These speakers are really top notch ! Even with a cheap radio they sound amazing ! I'm building a full Alpine car system and I have two pairs and I just ordered an amplifier . Can't wait to see how better they get !!!
