Got the controller in a blue box that read "Doubleshock Controller" and "For P4" those were the first warning signs... The next think i see when i look at the controller, is the buttons are not the ones in the pictures as they advertised. Then i unboxed it... Thr controller rattled, the buttons felt sticky, and the home button didnt work half the time. Speaking of not working half the time, it would randomly shut off on full charge. Not worth the "discounted" price of $40.

I don't know if it's my crappy luck or the fact this is a bootleg product from China, but this controller sucks. At random, the R2 either stops functioning when pressed, or it randomly functions on its own. The L1 button craps out at random too, the up and down d-pad go haywire and start either going allllll the way up or allll the way down on menus. The X button craps out at random too, and sometime when you go to save, the controller stops working entirely and you have to turn off/turn on the device to get it to work again. DO NOT WASYE YOUR MONEY, GO GET YOURSELF AN OFFICIAL SONY PS4 CONTROLLER. The fact this controller lacks the PlayStation logo on the center button and the fact the product sticker completely omits any mention of Sony or even PlayStation, that should tell you enough!

Should have listened to the other reviews, it does not hold a charge very long and kept disconnecting - wish i ha,md just spent a little more money and bought one made by sony

My "gamer" son loves this controller & he's picky about his stuff. I would recommend this 👍🏼

I bought this controller last month for my son as a birthday gift. He was so excited when he opened it yesterday, he charged it and when he started using it to play games. The remote lasted about 15 to 20 minutes & it stopped working! I am very disappointed with this purchase. I wanted to check if I can return it & get a new one because maybe the one we got was a defective one. I find out that there is a date that I had to return/exchange by which is the 9/15 so I guess it’ll be going in the trash! Luckily my brother had a spare that he could lend for now, but I found out from my brother that he had bought a black controller from this same company/seller & he had exchanged it for a new one, just to experience the same problem. Lucky for him he was able to return it for a full refund! The prices for these “2nd or 3rd party” are at an affordable price, but I suggest that you just spend the extra $20-$30 for a legit Sony controller that you can use for years to come!

I have to have it on the charger constantly, within 20 minutes of using the controller, it will be saying it's dead. It turns itself off randomly, and the buttons don't work as they should. It will act like I'm not hitting R2 and then when I hit square, it will start shooting (usually what R2 does in the games I play) and won't stop. All of this has happened since I opened it barely a week ago.

Looks and feels like a regular sony controller. (they even offer one in this color) but the controls are so stiff and unusable in a FPS game it's not even funny. Used it a couple times as a backup controller and broke down and spent the money to buy a Sony one.
