Love this seller!
Healthy, mature, and they sent extra. With bare roots you sometimes they’re completely dormant and you don’t see life but all of these were very much alive. Some were just beginning to emerge but it was easy to tell they were living. Plus they sent extra.

Great bare roots strawberry
I have purchased the Ozark strawberry bare roots from the seller Hand Picked Nursery two years in a row. Best decision I ever made. In the past, I purchased from the big box stores and Walmart but they never really survived and I had to resort to buying potted plants. Well, last year I purchased the Ozark strawberries and the seller gives you extra, just in case some die. They all survived. I ordered another different kind and all but one didn't make it. But with an order of 30 roots or so and the plus extra that it does come with, and only one didn't survive. I say that's pretty reliable and good roots you are getting. First I put them in a pot last year because it was pretty cold, and then moved it to the vertical planter once it got a little warmer. (The pictures with the white Mr. Stacky vertical pots are from last year's order. This year I got more bare roots and upgraded to a GreenStalk with more soil and room for the roots to grow. The bottom few rows are from this year's order and the darker leaved plants that are a row above, are from the overwintered last year's plants. I still have more plants that overwintered, in my raised bed garden. Very excited to see how many strawberries I will get this year. The last picture of the Green Stalk is from a week later. Look how much the new plants grew. The strawberries tasted great and they are decent in size.

Strawberries never grew
I ordered 24 bare root strawberries and got 24 bare root strawberries. I never got any extra like some of the buyers on here but that's okay I was excited to have the ones that I purchased. Unfortunately not one single one of them produced any strawberries. Sent the seller several messages and he never even bothered to respond to any of them. It's unfortunate when sellers/small business owners refuse to take even 60 seconds to respond to your concerns or questions regarding their product. Especially when not one single one of them sprouted anything. Will never do business with this seller again due to bad business practices. You're definitely not going to have a very thriving business when you ignore your customers.

Good strong plant sets
They were easy to grow. If the 20 strawberry sets they sent, I believe 16 of them took. For the price, that was excellent. It’s 2 months later and 15 are still going strong. I would definitely use this grower again.

GREAT performance for first year!
Bought these in late April and planted them in an ideal strawberry soil mix in a box and two grow bags on my Brooklyn roof deck. Only one plant initially failed (and I was actually sent one extra, anyway.) I pulled off early flowers to let the vegetation get strong. It’s now mid-July, and they are thriving (see photo) and producing more fruit than I expected for their first year. I’ve already propagated at least 10-15 new plants from runners. I am sure I’ll more than double these plants their first season. Definitely recommend.

Thanks!
So far looks great! The seller is so nice and generous by giving extra to help wisthstand the AZ heat. One or two are still striving, all the rest of them are looking great. Thanks a lot!

Low quality product
Some of the plants arrived in poor condition even for bare roots. Nevertheless, I followed the seller’s planting instructions. Two weeks later I only have 60% viable plants. Just another case of, “You get what you pay for.”
