Litey Leash Night-time Lighted Leash 5 Feet Long for Dogs up to 90 Lbs. (Red)

I walk my dog before work in the dark. The Litey Leash is nice, & lights up all along the length of it.One note: the plastic handle has a loop for your hand. If you live in a cold climate (like I do) & wear mittens, it's very tough to get your hand in.This product could be better with a larger opening for your hand.I've only found the leash in the 5 foot length. I prefer more room for my dog. I tried tying it to another leash, but it's heavier then a regular leash, so dragged on the ground.If they made it in a 10 foot (or longer) length & provided a larger opening for your hand, I'd buy several.

My whole family absolutely loves these leashes! We got our first ones about 3 years ago at Walmart for about $5 because we walk together with our dogs most nights after dinner. Once September hits, we rarely beat the dark so these leashes allow us to walk safely in our neighborhood. Not only do they bring us safety but they are FUN!!! We have had so many people stop us to tell us how near the leashes are. We have even had cars stop to ask us where we got them. Sadly this season as it started getting dark, when we pulled out one of our leashes it was no longer working. Walmart no longer sells them. I was a bit surprised by the huge spike price here on Amazon but it is worth the price to keep my family and our dogs safe.DEFINITELY Recommend this product if you are an evening walker. As a side benefit my young nephew loves walking with us just because of the colorful leashes.

20lb, 15 week old puppy in tow. Thought he might want to chew it up, but did great. The red lights (individual lights spaced about 5 inches apart) were very easy to see from a distance, especially as our puppy is a black fur ball and virtually invisible at night. Got lots of compliments from other families. Might consider buying as gifts or getting in other colors.2014 update: this leash has spent the past 12 months in a drawer (not suitable for daily walks)...but we pulled it out for Halloween. It was the first time using it since last Halloween. About 10 minutes into our walk, it was obious that there was a loose wire as we couldn't keep the lights on without serious wiggling/jiggling and pulling. It's now in the trash.

This leash saves lives! My two dogs and I went to cross a street in the cross walk, unfortunately no street light and a car came down the street very fast however she saw the leash and stopped in time, she rolled down the window and said thank you for the leash it allowed her enough time to see us a stop. I highly recommend this as you can use regular AA batteries, the new styles are USB which I do not want. Blinks on off or steady and very bright, so happy I found this product again as my old ones have worn out after 8 years of steady use. I also use it around my waste when walking the dogs so I am also easy to spot.

It's okay. I have had this for about a year now. The lights work perfectly. It's great for smaller dogs. I have 4 large dogs and it works for them for the most part, but it's pretty thin and flimsy so idk how long it will last and I believe one day it'll just snap. It is also a little rough, so it hurts my hand if I go for a long walk.

The night lite leases and the dog collars worked out real well and are serving it's purposes to the utmost. i have a big black lab and have received a lot of people asking where i purchased his lease from. has made my dog special while walking and has gained him a lot of attention. i give the blinking nite lite lease "five stars". it also holds him well for his big frame when we walk.

I bought this leash and it worked great for about a month until the lights went out. My dog is only 17 lbs. and doesn't pull when we're walking, so there was no stress put on the leash. After inspection, it seems the wiring inside the leash became disconnected. The lighted leash is a great idea for dog walking at night, but the construction of this product makes it not worth the money.

Worked great for a few weeks and provides great visibility for night time walks. Just wish it would have lasted longer than a few weeks of normal use (only several times per week). Ordered 2 more in hopes these will last longer.
