our 3-year old is following our 6-year old into and through the Schoolies' world!
We are soooo Happy to finally have our own copy of this book and allow the library copy to get back into general circulation. No more worries of having to give it back every 2 weeks. And, while it might not be you grown-up cup of tea, if you take a little time to build the life your kids lead into the Schoolies stories, it can be very fun to see how much your kids actually appreciate about their own lives and the friendships they are making in kindergarten and playschool. Very Nice Book!!

Terrific book, multi-faceted, well done, and most interesting for four-year old child.
This is a wonderful book. It not only gives excellent practice for a little one, but it has an engaging and multi-faceted story to go along with each hour or half-hour as the "Schoolies" progress through their morning (before school) and school day. My 4-year old granddaughter took to it immediately. I would highly recommend it.

Great book, very engaging for toddlers
Great book, very engaging for toddlers, from daily routine, school activities to letters, numbers, and even the use of clock, which keeps kids interested. This book is hands down my 3 year old's favorite book.

Very educational and entertaining
I grabbed this book at the airport without checking the description. It had a clock with movable hands at the front and I wanted to teach my daughter how to tell time... so I took it. I'm happy I did because I got more than that.First time I read it to my daughter she had the flu. Thought I would read two pages before she got restless. WRONG. She asked me to continue, taking part in the activities, until the book was finished. The book carries you through a school day, from waking up to home time on the bus. It stops at half hour intervals to describe what the characters are engaged in. It asks questions: can you find, how many, which one, match, etc. It gives some vocabulary words. Allows for interactive play with the clock - matching their times to child's clock. She picked up quickly the on the hour and half hour times. This book reinforces this. Although clock had minutes marked on its face, the book does not do minutes to and minutes past the hour.
