Perfect – works great
I am an electrical engineer, where part of my work is making products more user friendly. This device works like I designed it.In my home office I use a high end 4K HDR computer monitor as a third computer monitor and also use it (mostly) as a TV. This monitor does not have speakers, so I also have a soundbar hooked to it via an AUX jack. My wife gave me a pair of Sony headphones (WH-1000XM3) for Xmas that support AptX HD for high quality low latency TV viewing. This was probably a hint for me to be more quiet, but I scored a great pair of headphones, so I’m happy. So I needed to find a Bluetooth transmitter for the monitor. I was planning to purchase the top end Anvantree for $70, but while looking for a lower cost option, I read about how this HENKUR unit works well with the Sony headphones. But I was reluctant to pull the trigger due to the negative reviews and only 4 star rating. In the end, I have been so impressed by the design of this unit that I felt compelled to write this review.PROS:- Bluetooth V5.0 (The Avantree is only 4.2). Long range AND AptX HD.- Long Range – I once forgot that I had headphones on and walked out to the garage (~50 feet away thru 3 walls). Signal came in fine. Regular Bluetooth would have dropped out at one third the distance.- In TX mode, there is no noticeable lag when paired with the Sony headphones. AptX HD is an amazing thing.- Operation of the unit is simple. I go from pass through (allowing the TV to drive the sound bar), TX mode (allowing the TV to drive the headphones) or I can set it easily to RX mode (to drive the soundbar from an iPhone), all with one switch setting.- Pairing this unit with devices is simple. I’ve had a lot of BT devices that are a pain to pair with different devices. This unit pairs every time.- Unit is always on. I leave the unit in passthrough mode normally. When I what to pair it with my headphones, I simply set the unit’s mode switch to TX, wait a couple of seconds and then turn on the headphones. Pairs every time. I could just leave it in TX mode too - pairs every time.- The included user manual is surprisingly good for a Chinese product. From the reviews, I expected to find a completely unreadable manual.CONS:- Not really a con - the unit does not have a “Both” mode where both the soundbar and headphones have sound. Not something I wanted, but some might. The Avantree has this feature for $20 more and only BT 4.2.- Why all the bad reviews? I can see that some folks may not have it set up right, or the controls can be confusing if you’re not familiar with BT. I suspect the company may have some QA problems and I was one of the lucky ones that god a great unit. Time will tell. If the unit does fail in the future, I will update this review.- No real cons. This unit is everything I wanted. If you’re looking for a BT TX or RX capability from either an AUX or Toslink, this is your device. I couldn’t be happier with this unit.

Connected to Bose Bluetooth Speaker
I use this transmitter to get the sound from the TV to my 94 yr old father's bluetooth speaker that sits right next to him. Dad is deaf but has a cochlear implant which allows him to hear somewhat. If the sound is coming from the TV itself, he only picks up about every third or fourth word. With the speaker right next to his cochlear implant side (his right side), he can hear and understand about eight out of every ten words! This transmitter works very well. The only problem I have encountered is that when dad turns off the speaker which sits next to him, and it is off for more than five minutes, in order to get sound through the transmitter again, the power button on the transmitter needs to be turned on again. The power goes off automatically. This is a problem for my dad because he can only walk with a walker and very slowly even with the walker. In order for dad to get this to work, he has to turn on the TV and speaker and then go over to where the TV is and turn on the transmitter. At 94, he has difficulty with the simplest of tasks. Even moving across the room to find a very small button on the transmitter to turn it on! Very, very inconvenient! Also, the instructions for this unit are very difficult to understand. They are written in English but they obviously have been written by someone whose primary language is NOT English! The grammar and usage is so poor it is very difficult to understand what the writer is trying to convey! I would think if these people are going to market their products in the U.S., they could afford to hire someone whose primary language is English to write the instructions.

good range
I bought this to extend the range of my bluetooth headphones while working around the yard . prior to using this extender I had many dead spots and an average range of something like 35 feet from the computer to the headphones outside ,worse where more than 1 wall intervened . Now with the extender I have a consistent 100 plus feet all around only loosing signal when my truck in the driveway is between .so bottom line quite happy very much improved range good sound quality and quite easy to set up and pair I have only used it in the transmit mode with the one headphone so I can't speak for these functionsoverall very nice

Excellent solution for Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Bluetooth Headphones and LG TV
The instructions are not very good, but thankfully I'm a bit of a techie-hack, so by trial and error, I got it to work. The trick was also how to turn it on properly to pair and then again, how to turn it on to use it. Again, the instructions are not good. But, I finally figured out the number of times to press the On button in order to get the correct lights (TX/OPT/SBC) to go on. Also, don't forget to turn it off when you're done. This unit is a bit tricky, but worth the while. So good that my husband now wants his own set of Bose QuietComfort 35 II wireless bluetooth headphones! Win-win!

Bring your Bluetooth experience to the next level!!!
I have surround sound piped to 4 speakers using a nice 192KHz DAC Converter coming from my 4K tv in the bedroom... Yes, it's like having THX or Dolby, great for movies, etc, the only problem I had was two speakers are Bluetooth, other two ARE NOT!HENKUR to the rescue... With a quick switch from BYPASS mode to BLUETOOTH mode, I CAN NOW jam and rock out to my music ON ALL 4 SPEAKERS!!!When I'm done using Bluetooth, I switch back to bypass mode... Simple, direct and effective, bring your Bluetooth experience to the next level!!!

Very Neat!
What impressed me most was the range. I can walk around the house without annoying disconnection notifications. I like the fact that it is equipped with all the cables needed for installation. I connected it to my smart TV through an optical connection. The clarity of the voice is incredible. It lasted about 20 hours a week after it was fully charged. I can't wait to power my car with batteries.
