This collar works great only down fall is it is not waterproof. Your dog can not use it in the water. So I had to order another collar. On the second collar I learned to make sure you are checking the stubs everyday before use because they get loose. His second collar ones got loose and the devise fell off the collar.

Works great but dog could be sensitive too the plastic collar. My Shar-Pei Had an allergic reaction to it but they are extremely skin sensitive. The fabric one was fine. If you have a highly active dog it may break but inexpensive enough to replace and worth it! Very easy to use.

I loved the setup of this remote and how small it was compared to others. However, this was the second one like this we purchase and the collar piece broke Within a few weeks. Our dog is an indoor dog and isn’t rough. Just odd!

I had written a long 5 star review. Now it’s ZERO stars! I got the e collar plus an additional collar. The FIRST collar lost a prong almost immediately I guess cuz it wasn’t tight enough. I stole a prong from the second collar. First one lasted about 2 months. Then u see it fell apart (2nd photo and one with all the dog hair stuck to it) The tiny screws holding it together just pulled right thru. I was lucky I found the half not attached to the collar. I removed this collar from him every single night.So after collar one died, I started using collar two. It lasted ONE WEEK before it did the exact same thing! (First pic) The screws holding it together , and I’d guess keeping it waterproof, pulled right thru the body of the unit!I tried to return it after the SECOND one busted, of course, too late for that!Initially, I loved this e collar! Did everything I needed it to do. But now, what a waste of $$$!

My beagle reacts instantly to the vibrate mode. She is in and out of the water all the time and the collar is still working perfectly.

Not waterproof, took my dogs to the beach and when I got home I noticed that the green light was not on so I thought the battery was dead so I put them on the charger and nothing, I could hear a crackling noise inside. I thought it just might be defective but I have two and both died the same day. These are a replacement from my first ones cause the housing tore off from the the straps. See my previous review for pictures. When something breaks twice I'm done.
