PureGuardian H1300, 70-Hour Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier , 128 Fl.Oz

I've owned this product for a little over a month now and I think it's a great buy! It functions exactly as described. It's quiet, the mist control gives you a nice range of settings for the amount of humidity it puts out and there is little maintenance required. On the lowest setting a full tank may last longer than 70 hours. The only complaint one could make about this product is if you have it on a higher setting it won't last 12 hours. But as described, a full tank can last UP TO 70 hours, (and possibly longer.)Unfortunately for me, I have an open floor plan and I will need to purchase another one or two to be completely happy with the purchase. I find myself filling this unit once per day, (sometimes twice,) through no fault of the manufacturer. I think this would work fine maintaining levels for two 10X15 rooms. But with my first floor being as open as it is and around 800 square feet, I have to have the unit nearly on the highest setting, (which drinks up a gallon of water seemingly every 10-12 hours,) and that's too much of a chore. The one star deduction is because of my own personal issue and I just can't justify giving the product a 5 star when I'm not thrilled with it. Keep in mind however, when I do decide to purchase another, it will likely be this one!

Great humidifier for medium-sized rooms. It keeps us from constantly shocking each other in our dry Colorado home! It's super-quiet and has an ultra-fine mist. The silver antibacterial disc is a nice feature. I wonder if copper, which I've never seen in a unit, would be a better choice though. Even without filters, you still have to clean the unit periodically though. I wish it had an automatic shut-off when the water runs out But I suppose the red indicator light is sufficient.

Only drawback, it only lasts 70 hours if not on full blast. But, it will get through a night and seems to do a nice job. I have not had it very long so can't report on the life of the ultrasonic speaker (past history says they wear out around 2-3 years with heavy use), perhaps I'll report back in a few years on that.

My 89 year old Father needed one. The previous one from Vicks leaked and was noisy. This one took 2 seconds to understand. It's quiet because it's not a fan blowing water mist but ultrasonic. Just great.

The machine operates relatively quietly, does not leak, and the tank, which I thought on the small side, holds enough water so that we do not have to refill it constantly. All in all, good value for the money.

I am continually using it this year here in Bakersfield, Ca. It has been hot and dry with very little humidity. I would recommend this unit if you have Hot,Dry conditions. I move this unit from the living room to our bedroom and back. Sometimes, I wish I had two of them so I would not have to move them back and forth. The vapor adjustment is easily set and I don't have to refill for at least 48 hrs., depending on conditions. Much better than using a regular vaporizer.

great machine. quiet, easy to operate and fill. Well made. Only tiny drawback that i notice is that the threads on the fill thingy dont go all the way around the opening, so when re-screwing the cap on it gets screwed back on easily crooked...if not mindful, and dont notice that when screwing the cap on after filling, the water can spill thru when flipping the jug over.

A GREAT ITEM ....

Got this for a bedroom. It is a bit awkward to use, and fill, and has to be done in a sink to not spill water. It only lasts for 8 - 10 hrs, not the amount stated in the promo. Also, in a 200 sq ft room, it doesn't really add much humidity. It's quiet enough, does make a hum. I add a few drops of eucalyptus oil and that lasts for about an hour, so that is helpful for breathing. I can't say that I'd buy this again, I'd look for one that mists a bit more for a room that size

Very good, no nonsense humidifier. Performs as expected with simple instructions and performance. Easy fill up of tank and very little maintenance required.

The biggest plus is its quietness, thus making it perfect for bed room use.There are only two negative points: 1) it is small, so frequent re-fills are required,2) it lacks handles or a curvature on the tank to make it easier to carry.

Works great for a small room. Comes with a cleaning brush which was a surprise. Been using it for 3 weeks. It does last 70 hours on the lowest settings. At its medium it last about 24 hours

quiet and works well. not the highest output but fine for a bedroom at night.
