Great little speaker
This is about my 7th Bluetooth speaker I have purchased in prices ranging from 10 to 100 bucks and I can honestly say this speaker for the price (amazing daily deal price here on Amazon) is one of the best I have purchased out of all of them. Bluetooth connecting was simple and the sound is very good, decent bass and very loud. I have noticed other reviews where some complaints have been with volume of this speaker. When I first connected speaker and used the volume up/down on the speaker itself, it was low and was kinda worried it was really a disappointing purchase however, once I raised volume on the phone the speaker rocked plenty loud. Even after inserting micro sd card the volume first needs to be at max on paired phone then the controls for raising and lowering speaker work just fine.A surprise using the speaker was after receiving a text message on my phone, the speaker read the text message and asked how I wanted to respond, I have never heard that from my phone or any other Bluetooth connected speaker so not sure if that is indeed a feature of speaker or not but thought that was cool. I'm not sure if Baytek addressed some issues other reviewers encountered with a loud voice always announcing when Bluetooth is connected but mine did not do that and just made a beep when it paired to my phone.Overall I am very pleased with the sound and quality of this speaker and probably would have been willing to pay 4 or 5x the amount I did for this speaker. Only negative which is only a big deal if not tech savvy is the instruction book was lacking any info on proper way to insert micro sd card and how to operate the fm radio but again, not huge deal.

Nice Buy for a few days
I've been using this for several days and am quite pleased. For one it's louder with podcasts than a few of my other speakers. Battery seemed at least 5 plus hours. I purchased because of the radio feature that isn't in the description or instructions but found in a couple reviews. It works fine but you need the the cord plugged in for an antenna. Overall so far very happy. The day I wrote this review it ceased to turn on. When I put it on to charge, it sat on a red light and never charged to blue. I received a replacement and it arrived today. Now the radio will not pick up any stations at all. I'm using it in the same spot as the first one, that when it worked picked up lots of stations. This one is just static. Plugged in so it should work like the other. To bad it sounds good on the bluetooth part. Have to return. Any ideas for something similar with a built in radio? I have an Expower but had to go through two to get one that worked.

The best I've tried at this price.
There are a lot of bluetooth speakers at this price point. I have two of the cheaper, little small silicon "mushroom" ones and one more black box like this that actually cost more than this one. So far, this is my favorite one. It linked up to my phone in a couple seconds and has a nice full sound. The bass is much better than most cheap bluetooth speakers. The controls make more sense than the other cryptic buttons I've seen and they are clearly marked. I have not tried the FM radio. The battery has not died on me in a couple hours of use, so that's a good sign; my other speakers need to be recharged in a couple hours or less. I got mine for $15 with a promotional coupon I found online, but I would recommend it for $20 too.

very good for the features and quality, with a few wish-to-have
i will say it is very good especially for the price, features rich, nice sound, serve well for my main purpose. the things i would like it to not like what we have right now are:1) has a selector for source, currently when switched on, it seems doing nothing even though the last thing before i switched off was playing mp3 from microSD. i need to popup the card and push back in to make it play the sound.2) when the sound starts, it started with loudest volume that i had to hold volume down button for several second to low it, again it does not remember last volume setting. it is better off to have an analog volume dial so you don't wake up whole house each time you turn this on(so this is to say it is very loud)

Not very loud for it's size, a little crackly sounding.
Audio quality is lacking. Sounds better wired through AUX port.It doesn't get very loud. I have a couple other cube or barrel shaped bluetooth speakers that are mono, I wanted something stereo so I picked this up, but volume-wise it doesn't come close to the Jensen SMPS-621 and possibly the Urban Beatz speaker my girlfriend has.I used it for a skype call, it was reasonably loud, my friend could hear me fine. I had it turned up to max so I could hear him over the A/C.I wish I had gone with my original idea to chain two of the iHome cube speakers together in stereo mode, this just seemed like an easier/cheaper option at the time for $15.Controls are a little bit annoying for all the modes. Only a few buttons for many different commands. A card is included to help.It does have radio, which is a unique feature compared to the other bluetooth speakers I've used. Also has a micro SD slot that I assume can play mp3s. I have not tried this feature. There isn't really much documentation included. Instructions are simple and printed on cardstock, with the back page listing all the commands.

Ok for the money
I saw this speaker on sale and decided to try it out since it was a pretty good price. It’s an average speaker with average sound for its size. Don’t expect to overwhelm a room with this, but if you have a few people out on the patio and want some background music it does an OK job. Some of the strengths are that it connects, easy, charges fast, and holds a charge for a good while, I’d say the big drawbacks are that it’s a bit tinny in sound, especially when you turn the volume all the way up. Some people have complained about the audio notification when it connects, but that didn't bother me too much, however I’m not using it in an office environment but wouldn't hesitate to do so where I’m at.
