After trying many gel pens, I like these the best, by far!
In the past 10+ years I have tried every gel pen I could get my hands on and these pens are the best I have tried so far. Here's why. What I like:- They write smoothly on most paper I've used them on. These pens do not feel scratchy or skip like other gel pens I've used.- The ink lasts a long time and never seems to dry up.- Smearing is always a problem with gel pens, but I rarely get smearing with these. I'm not saying it can't or won't happen though.- I like to use black pens and the color on these is a dark black, not a grayish color like other pens.- The case of the pens, even though made of plastic, are of good quality. The fit of the rubber part is grippy and comfortable.- The price of these were about $1 a pen and previously I found them on sale for $1.33 (half off at $4.00 for 3) at one of the local office supply stores, so the price was right. What I didn't like:- First time I received these pens they came in a box, like in the picture, and all appeared to be in NEW condition. The second order I received came wrapped up in a rubber band and some of the protective plastic tips were off of half of them, making me wonder if these pens were used or not. I didn't contact the seller to send them back as I didn't want the hassle of sending them back.I have literally tried every gel pen I could get my hands on and I like these the best so far. I would recommend just getting a couple to try out first before going for the multipak.

Best Pens Ever
The .7 flows a bit too much, but at under $9 for a dozen, it's a great deal. Add to that how well the ink glides on nearly any paper, and it's hard to beat these pens.Sure they are not made in Japan anymore, and the pen is all-plastic, but the hue of the blue is beautiful, the click is satisfying, and the grip is good too.Sadly, they do seem to finish fast, but at this quality and this price, it's fine to frequently refill the stash. Refills are available too, but don't make any financial sense to buy those as they are more expensive than buying the full sets of 12. If you're looking for possibly the best value/quality pens ever, these are it.

Very smooth and long lasting with no smears!
I fell in love with Pentel EnerGel pens when I first tried them... in my opinion they are the best gel pens out there. The variety I used to buy were pretty expensive; sold in two packs and a little more stylish than these are. BUT then I found out that these are the same exact ink with same amount of smoothness, just in a different looking pen case. I actually think I prefer the simplicity of these compared to the ones I used to buy. Much cheaper than the others, especially when bought in a 12 pack like these. I had enough to share with my coworkers and they all loved them! These are definitely my go-to pens when it comes to charting (nurses notes)!!

Very nice pens, just slightly less smooth than the 1.0mm point size
I bought a box of these 0.7mm pens, following up that purchase with the same pens in the 1.0mm size, which I prefer. The 0.7mm pens are nice, but I find that they're just very slightly scratchy on paper, whereas the 1.00mm size lays down a truly smooth line of gel ink. The 7's are very nice pens, but my preference is for the wider line and smoother flow. With the 1.0 pens I get the full feel of a gel pen; with the 0.7's it still feels like gel, but I don't find the smoothness to be AS noticeable. The more narrow line of the 0.7mm pens might appear a bit more refined, and in the photo I'm attaching you can see the difference in the line widths.I'm left handed but don't drag my hand across the ink as I write, but I did test for smearing and with regular paper I get no smearing at all.I haven't had these long enough to say definitively how long a pen will last, but no issues in that regard are apparent so far. They arrive with a tiny bead of plastic on the tip, meaning there are no issues with drying prior to receipt.Bottom line for me: these are very nice gel pens, nice feel, good gel/ink flow, but I slightly prefer the even smoother 1.0mm point versions of the same pen.

Favorite Pen
Recommend for smooth writing and perfect line thickness - not too thick or thin. Have been buying the pens & the refills for YEARS. High consistency of ink quality. Love these pens. People who borrow them love them, too, so I give many away; that's why I have to buy the pens themselves as well as the refills. If they ever stop selling the refills I'll be SAD, bc I'll have to find another pen - I'm cheap like that. Love these pens.

Best pens ever
These pens are amazing. I use them to fill out assessments at work and every single time a nurse uses it to sign my assessment she compliments the pen

Smooth & Free flowing Ink color
I’m left handed and some ink gel pens do not dry fast enough as I write which causes smudges on my paper. These pens are smooth, easy to write with and dries very quickly.
