By and large, things are going well for Corey (Tyler Poelle). He's a successful young therapist who recently purchased a gorgeous pair of engagement rings. Corey plans to propose to his long-term boyfriend Jon (David Wilson Page). Jon, however, might not be ready for such an important life-long commitment. In an effort to sew his wild oats, Jon begins having an affair with a woman (Jenica Bergere). Worse yet, it turns out that she's one of Corey's patients. The formerly happy couple is soon broken apart and Corey is devastated that is, until his brassy, lesbian sister Kelsey (Jennifer Elise Cox) introduces him to the wonders of social media and how easy it is for gay men to get laid these days. Faster than you can log into Grindr, Corey begins seeing a hunky guy named Pete (Joel Rush). Pete seems to have everything a young, successful gay guy could ask for, but when Jon comes crawling back for forgiveness, Corey finds himself with a very difficult decision to make. Love or Whatever is packed with hysterically funny dialogue, a stellar cast (which includes plenty of beefy eye candy) and a perfect balance between wild humor and heart-warming romance.

Surprisingly good
I did not know what to expect going into the movie, but it was surprisingly funny and sweet. Honestly this is definitely a hallmark gay movie and a 10/10 one at that. Worth the watch!!

If there were a gay Hallmark movie, this would be it.
It's better than most gay movies for men (you know the ones- twinks, queens, campy, stereotypical). Overall this one isn't too terrible. I gave this one a 3 because at least it's watchable, although very predictable. Gallmark Movie.

Just Okay, needed different casting.
This film could have been a lot better if it wasn't for the poor castings job on the part of the producers. No one complimented each other at all. WEIRD

What a fun and funny film! ***SPOILERS**
I read some of the reviews prior to watching this film and was semi-prepared to hate it. Instead I laughed my way through it. It was well acted, kudos to the 2 leads, great on-location shots, well written and most of all it made me smile all the way through it. The ending was great with Cory and Joel finding happiness. If they were real people I would hope they would be together forever. Be absolutely sure you see the last few seconds after the credits. KARMA!

Watchable & Enjoyable ...if you don't think too much
Nothing great or meaningful here. Nobody is going to win any acting awards ...but this was enjoyable and watchable. No thinking required here; actually, the more you think about it, the less you will enjoy it.Overall, a fun and enjoyable escape from reality.TIP: MAKE SURE TO WATCH past the credits ...the movie continues for about another minute with an interesting clip.

Unexpectedly clever!
I wasn’t expecting to like this film, but them I’m a sucker for romantic comedies. Although most elements of the plot have been seen in other romcoms, the fact that this story is about gay men make it somewhat unique, and I only wish more straight men would watch it to learn that love is love. The script is clever, and the acting is solid. The lesbian sister is over the top—almost clownish—but nevertheless adds a certain flair to the movie. There is plenty of gay kissing, and enough gay sex to keep it interesting without bordering on porn. Be sure to watch the after the credits scene. I should make you smile.

Humorous and Cute
A fabulously gorgeous imaginative quirky romantic comedy, I absolutely loved it! Was also happily surprised by the cameo appearances by renoune magician Michael Carbinaro (of "The Carbinaro Effect"), Kate Flannery (of "The Office"), and Justin Ross (of "A Chorus Line").

Totally predictable
They used the recipe book for typical gay romances to make this one. Fortunately the one common ingredient they left out, was an angst-ridden coming out process, That appreciated omission, along with good performances by the actors portraying the 2 main characters, makes it worth watching, but don't plan an evening around it.

Relationship crisis when a gay man goes bi - type comedy
Another gay rom-com and I have no problem with that at all. This is about Corey he has a good career as a psycho-analyst, his best friend and sister is a lesbian who is great fun and he has a very hot boyfriend. Then his boyfriend gets a relationship wobble and goes to a bar where he gets all squiffy and picks up a woman! When he confesses to Corey about his indiscretion, Corey throws him out and amidst a glut of self pity decides to turn his life around and try to see if he can meet that `special someone'. Cue the humour - and to be fair there are quite a few comic moments to be seen here. The sister, Kelsey (Jennifer Elise Cox of `The Brady Bunch' movies) is a force of humorous nature. The supporting cast are all more than above par, but some of the jokes fall a bit flat or fall into that comedy cliché mode - like an old woman supposedly being shocking because she talks about sex. That aside this is quite a lot of fun; there is some nudity but all a bit tame in that department. It is really about relationships, love and doing the right thing - even if you get it wrong a few times first. Tyler Poelle as Corey -he was in `Scrubs' - is a great choice for the lead and his co star Joel Rush as Pete the pizza guy is spot on - he was in some of the `Eating Out' films. This is far from being original, will not enlighten you on any aspects of being gay or bi or whatever, but it is still a good watch.

90% comedy, 10% drama. This latest gay film features enough likeable characters to be a winner. Just not very original.
Gloriously OTT performances from most of the, on the money, cast make for a delightful, if unsubstantial, gay themed rom com. The guys are hot. The allegedly strong, according to the back cover of the DVD, sex is relatively inoffensive. There is some male nudity but nothing too gratuitous. The film is NOT an 18. It does run for around an hour and 20 minutes. Tyler Poelle is wonderfully charming as the unlucky in love lead. And he has a nice ass on him too. Here he is more than ably backed up by a strong supporting cast not least a perfectly catty Jennifer Elise Cox as the lesbian sister. As the scoundrel who breaks our heroes heart David Wilson Page looks every inch, so to speak - he's relatively short, the god of Corey's life. And as the light at the end of the tunnel, pun unintended, Joel Rush is strikingly handsome and hugely affecting. Even the sex scene between Corey and Pete is not explicit. A little sad in places but with a happy ending.

"Mostly average"
I have said it before and I say it again. To create a good comedy is not an easy task and "Love or whatever" is another example of a comedy that is not up to the mark. There is far too much overacting. The girl's poetry reading for example is embarrassingly silly and unbelievably overacted. To claim that this film is "the freshest, funniest gay comedy around" is according to me the exaggeration of the year. There are, to be fair, some enjoyable moments but they are far too few to impress me. Joel Rush (Pete) is by far the best actor and saves the film. He really stands out from the rest. He is absolutely adorable and deserves a five.
