Haunted House

I'm going to be honest. The story line sucks. But the book itself is awesome. My son makes me read it every stinkin night. Very well illustrated and constructed. Lots of things to pull...open...touch.

This was one of my daughter's favorite books growing up and it was always checked out at the library. So glad I found this for her. Now she is going to share it with her little girl.

I loved this book as a kid, felt the sentimental bug to get it for my kids to experience. They have enjoyed it too!! It is fragile (paper & moving parts) not for little hands to have unmonitored free range.

This book is great. I bought the original 35 years ago for my son and now I got another one for my grand daughter.They loved it. The pop up monsters and features are great. Highly recommend this for every kid. Great book.

My daughter is 27 I had bought book for her when she was little and now bought it again for my grandchildren. They absolutely love this book.

Lots of pop-ups, flaps, sliders, and nice graphics on heavy glossy card stock. Simple cute story.

If you've never seen a Jan Pienkowski pop-up book, you are in for a real treat! They are masterfully created, funny, and just so darn clever! This is one to keep and cherish for years - not one you would want little hands ripping apart.

I had this as a child. I had massive expectations when I saw it again decades on and it didn't disappoint.It is still the best pop up book I have ever seen. Its well made, has a generous number of pages with a great variety of pop ups and slidey bits. The pop ups and pages take a pummelling and with a bit of care I've seen this book survive 10years.It's' fun scary' and ideal for young children.I've bought 2 already having found this again and its always wildly popular with a massive retro value for parents who used to have one.This is much more fun than ipad stuff and it run rings around the quality of pop up books you see for the latest trend children characters.

What a fantastic book. My wife grew up with this book and wanted a new copy for her 3 year old niece. The author is the same chap who did the illustrations for Meg the Witch. As a 37 year old, almost adult, this was a delightful book to flick through (before reluctantly handing it over to the niece.) I want to get this for my nephew now so will order another one. Pop-up books are notoriously expensive to make, so its wonderful that this book is back in print.

I love this book. It is everything I had hoped it would be. I ordered it after watching a YouTube cover to cover demonstration. Great for probably 4-8 year olds and for pop-up book enthusiasts!

Nice book but not easy to work out! I know sounds silly but seriously it’s not easy to pull the cardboard levers and even though it says pull you have to still be careful not to pull it from the wrong page as it doesn’t indicate where and which side!

This book...Ahh this book...I don't know what is about it, but our family and friends find very entertaining , funny and interesting to look at. This book does not contain the most amazing pop up mechanisms you will find in other very engineered pop up books , but the illustrations are excellent and there are many funny hidden surprises that you need to look for and find. The creatour really captures your imagination and takes you into the creepy world of the haunted house where you will find yourself part of the scenario and entertainingly reveals your inner fears. This is my favorite Pop-up book!
