A1 Cardone 20-8002 Remanufactured Power Steering Pump with Reservoir (Renewed)

Product seams to work well. Installed new pump, gearbox and hoses, so far so good. As of now only about 10 miles of usage everything seams to be ok.

1997 12v Cummins direct fit. Works well out of the box no leaks. It puts out a lot of pressure, so make sure you replace your old hoses. Blew one of my hoses so basically had to do the job twice.

Has performed flawlessly since installation a week ago. Appears to be a higher quality rebuild compared to one I got under the name of a well known national auto parts chain which was noisy from day one and totally failed ina few months. The reservoir on the Cardone pump was slightly larger than the factory reservoir and I had to grind down my oil pressure sender socket for it to have clearance to slide on the oil pressure sender so I could torque the sender properly. Overall I believe that the Cardone rebuilt pump is excellent in quality, and they offered a great rebate for my core. I am pleased with this purchase!

I bought this item just in case I might need it later so around a year later I needed it and put it on my truck so it was defective and I had to replace it by going to the local auto parts store and buying a new part. Now I am stuck with a power steering pump that doesn’t work and can’t get a refund I think I did buy the warranty with it but they haven’t done anything Buyer Beware when buying auto parts from Amazon

Installed it, followed factory service manual directions and it would not build any pressure, swapped to a different brand. Terrible product, would not recomend
