VuQube V10 Truck-Mountable Satellite Antenna System

i received my vu qube about 2 weeks ago,fairly easy to install,i purchased the no drill bracket to mount it on.it is easy to locate the satellite with remote,i have direct tv so there is only 1 sat. to mess with.a booklet comes with the unit that tells you your elevation from where you are,then you just scan toward the southern sky until you run into the satellite.you have your signal meter on the tv screen as your scanning so when you hit it your signal meter will let you know.now the bad news,after 1 week the scanning from right to left quit working and had to send it back to king controls.technical support were nice and they emailed me a ups mailing label that i printed out so shipping did'nt cost me anything.they are either going to send a new one once they have received this one or replace the part that malfunctioned.very dissapointed it broke after 1 week but i like having sat.tv on the road.hopefully this was just one of those things and not something that is going to be a pain in the you know what.one other thing is don't expect to get network channels [abc cbs,nbc,fox]by just adding a receiver to your home satellite setup for $5.00.to get the networks you have to put in a waiver and sign up for your own new account which is going to cost you like a regular monthly programing bill.maybe during football season i may change my mind but for now i am just adding a receiver to my home subscription for $5.00 a month.

This Vuqube has never worked and calling the maker is a waste of time, I stayed on hold for over 45 min and when someone picked up the phone I was told that it was out of warranty and that was too bad that I did not try it before the warranty period ended. What!!! I only picked this up to use when on the road!! I lost $596.00 don't buy this or if you do Please hook it up as soon as you get it and make sure it works. Good Luck.. (PS) I went out and picked up the tailgater from Dish and it worked and is still working and the price is $340.00..

Had some major problems with elevation control. They repaired it, then it stopped rotating entirely. They eventually replaced the unit. I absolutely love this unit now that it's been working properly for several months. I don't have the kind of mirrors that I can mount a dish to, and trying to line up a pole mount on the back of the cab was a nightmare. I get this lined up in a minute or two. Fantastic. I'm holding back a star for now as I'm not sure yet if this unit is rugged enough to withstand the constant jarring of being on a semi. Fingers crossed.

real simple to install first et up did not read instructions then I read instrcutions and no issue, clear picture with Direct tv. happy camper

Works perfect. No problems just mount it and go. This is a replacement unit for my semi. I already have the box and subscription.

Works great! I use with Directv receiver and get over 165 channels perfectly in all 48 states. Can not receive HD packages with this unit. Will need a waiver from FCC to receive local channels very easy to apply for thru Directv RV services division. During heavy rain may loose signal accasionally, but only for very short period while storm clouds pass.

This product did not work for me. If you are 20 feet away the remote dose not connect with the QuQbe. I purchased this to use with my RV and had no sucess. I tried it at home and had no sucess ther either.

A reliable and easy way to receive satellite television anywhere we travel. Even the most remote locations are readily accessible for reception. A "great" product !!!
