I bought a 7-8 because that's what I always buy for it to fit my daughter on the little roomy side. Well, this was certainly not roomy. It fit a little small for the size that it is, so thank goodness I buy it to fit a little bigger.Tip: The bow is removable if careful. I clipped the threads off around the back of the bow, the middle section and each side. I had to reposition it to the top for a Halloween costume. So I wanted to give you a heads up. I could've removed it all together if I wanted.

Great value. This is a very soft, comfortable dress. It has a pretty bow, which adds a nice touch.For reference, my daughter just turned 7yrs old. She is slim at 46 1/2 inches tall, and 42lbs. She usually wears a size 4/5 or 5 in all dresses. I bought the 5/6 in this because it is cotton, and she is getting taller. The material is stretchy, but it does have a slimmer chest, neck, and armpit, which is good for us. If my daughter wasn't so slim, I would say there'd be no harm in sizing up on this one if your worried about the washing and drying of cotton, because I usually have to buy a 4/5 for her, and this 5/6 fits firmer on her neck, and arms than some. It has a normal length. I always throw some little shorts, or leggings underneath, either way.I am completely happy with my purchase, and will definitely be back for more colors, and sizes as she grows. I do recommend, and am happy this is priced fairly. I will post a pic of her wearing this soon.

I have a couple of daughters with sensory processing disorder, so online shopping and dress shopping tend to be risky business in our family.I ordered this dress because it looks stretchy and simple (no crazy ruffles or scratchy material) and it did not disappoint. We dressed it up a little with a scarf and it was perfect. My daughter didn't even press me to change when we got home.Very happy. I would say, with the stretchy material, I could have gone up a size and it still would have fit her well, but had some additional length (it was a little shorter than I expected, but it wasn't to the point of where she couldn't go out in it).I would buy again!

The dress is adorable, soft and can be dressed up or down. I read reviews that suggested this dress runs small--I found it almost runs a little on the larger size. My daughter wears a 5/6 typically, and after checking the sizing guide and measuring, I bought her regular size. If I would have sized up, it would have been huge. Happy with the purchase. A big plus for her, NO itchy TAGS! She was comfortable in her dress.

got this for a photo shoot and i really like how stretchy the material is. got the 5/6 for my petite daughter (7yo & 45lbs) and it fits perfectly on her. it goes right below her knees. it is such a beautiful dress.

Well made. Very soft. Pretty color. Nice style. Good value. Good for play, but could also be dressed up with a cute sweater or dressy shoes.My daughter is six, in the 80th percentile for both height and weight. Some reviewers said this dress runs short, so I ordered a 7/8, but it is too long for her. A 5/6 probably would have fit perfectly. Going to order another in the right size, different color and save the first one for next year.

Such a cute dress and my daughter loves it. It's made from a stretchy material that is on the thick side. She has the lavender color and it looks just like the picture color wise. It's almost to her knees.

The dress is very well made and looks exactly like the picture shown. The fabric feels like the same fabric as really thick leggings-very stretchy and thick. As far as size, it fit a tiny bit small, but it wasn’t too bad. She usually wears size XS is like 4-5. I purchased the dress is size 5-6 and it fit perfectly so I would suggest sizing up. The dress is stretchy, but I would still size up so it fits comfortably.
