Board Brothers Xiaomi M365 Electric Scooter Outer Tire Solid Rubber - No Explosion with Anti Slip - 8.5in by 2in

Bought the tire, to replace with my front tire. Installation consisted of microwaving tire for 3 minutes to get the rubber flexible enough to go into the front rim. Then coating it and the rim in silicone at pushing on as hard as I could as the rubber was burning hot. This took an hour until I finally got it mostly on, and gave up. Now I drive around with a pull to the left because the wheel is slightly off on one of the rim sides. Further be careful with which way the anti slip tread is going, I think in the burning hot rubber and pressing for an hour with it constantly popping off the rim, I put the tread in the wrong direction. Bought one of the honeycomb no flats for my back wheel and it popped on in less then 30 seconds.

Please for the love of god DO NOT BUY. Did you catch that, DO NOT, DO NOT BUY.Why you might ask, dear amazon shopper, well it is a total piece to install. Need a heat gun, not a hairdryer, heat gun to install. Once you do the ride is worse as many forums can attest to, but the worst part is the performance hit. Loss in acceleration, loss of power, loss of battery life.I mean I felt it was dangerous to ride the scooter around since it was so slow cars would hit me.The cause for this is very elementary, my dear Watson, as you increase rotational mass you increase rotational inertia which makes it harder to spin up to speed but in the real world, the effect is the scooter goes from Xioami M365 to one of the cheap knockoff scooters which are dangerous slow.(These tires are HEAVY, hence the company makes one with holes, they probably also suck)If solid tires were so cool cars would have them, the military would use them, Michelin would not need into invest billions into R&D for a solid tire.The only time solid tires are good is when you use them on a wheelbarrow.Absolute worst purchase, I have ever made in my entire life.

I boiled it and microwaved it to get it soft enough to stretch and it still was a pain to put on. Would I buy it again NO I can’t tell you how sore I was afterwards

At first when I replaced the tire, it would not sit correctly on the rim. Eventually, after a lot of poking and prodding I got it on correctly. However, when going up a hill, I found the scooter no longer operated the same way it had compared to inflatbale tires. I picked these tires because they appeared to be the lightest weight solid tires on Amazon. Unfortuntely, had to return these. If you have hills, I don't recommend them - flat ground they're fine, but for moderate hills they're just not going to cut it.

Product is as described however with it being extremely hard to put the all rubber tier on them rim tolls should be included! Like buying a good iPhone replacement screen they will include basic installation tools... this tier should have the same I’m sure it’s a tone of people unable to put it on! I’m a professional and it Gave me a real workout 🏋️‍♀️ putting it on!

I tried everything. Boiling it, microwaving it, full tire irons and a super strong friend. We just couldn't get this tire on to the rim. I went around local tire places & bike shops, and they wanted lots of $$$ to install it. Sadly returning it. Be warned, installing this is problematic.

I like the tread its better for off road. A little more slippery on pavement but not bad. Tough to install but I managed. I recommend if you ride your scooter hard and sick of flats

I'm happy with it. The install is tricky, it took me an hour of fussing and sweating after watching a few youtube videos on the subject. I did the front tire.
