GREAT TOOL BOX, VERY STURDY FEELS RIGHT
THE BOX ARRIVED ON TIME AS PROMISED. I LOADED UP THE BOX WITH SEVERAL TOOLS. THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH THE TOOL BOX. I RECOMMEND THE SELLER AND THE HOMAK TOOL BOX.

Heavy Duty and Very Well Constructed
This tool box is excellent! The quality puts me in mind of the heavy-duty automotive tool boxes that my dad and brothers had in the 1950s and 1960s. The metal is heavy gauge, the box and inner tray are constructed and joined well, and the paint work is first rate. I got this for my husband's 60th birthday (you can tell I am a true romantic) and I'm sure that it will be handed down to his grandson a long time from now.

Quality Toolbox made with Thick Steel
Item arrived in a double box with the toolbox held in place by Styrofoam inserts inside the inner box. Since it was so well package it arrived without any dents. The box is made out of thick steel with a nice paint job. The latch doesn't have any way to lock it and it doesn't come with a tray but the handle is all metal. This tool box is a real bargain at this price point. It reminds me of the way things used to be made in the U.S.A. forty years ago. uali

Don't Believe Dimensions Listed
The dimensions given for this item are totally incorrect. They are listed (at least when I bought this item in June, 2011) on Amazon as 9.25" long, 21.25" wide, and 11" high. Actual dimensions (as measured by me and listed on the box) are 19" wide, 7" deep and 8.5" high.I was looking for an 11" high box and thought this was the one. Other than that disappointment, this is a well-built tool box. I could find nothing in this general size with a metal handle in the stores. Hard enough just to find a metal toolbox.

Well Made!
In my opinion...the tool box is very well made, and just the right size....I bought three each of them for my three young grandsons..filled them with the necessary tools one would need for small household & auto repairs. Searched all of my local big-box tool stores, nothing compared...it's very difficult to find an all steel toolbox...most have plastic shelves & handles. The Steel Handle is riveted into the lid, thus it's able to carry the weight of the box and tools inside. The inside shelf is also made of steel, painted the same as the box. I had monogrammed brass name plates made for the lid of each box...I think my grandsons will probably keep and use them throughout their lifetime. I was given a tool box by my grandfather...used it all through college to keep my car running...and still have and use it today.

Great for a tool that doesn't have one
Bought this as a tool case for grinder that came without one. Very stout and well built. I put a 4.5" side arm grinder, handle, guard, tons of spare discs, spindle wrench and an extra set of motor brushes in a snug but functional fit. Would also make a great trunk box or a tote for just the essentials for a job away from home. It has the feel of something built by Snap-on or Mac, but at a much better price. Highly recommended!

**FANTASTIC TOOLBOX**
Bought this for my son as a birthday present. It was perfect and exactly what he was looking for! It was difficult to find one where the insert was also metal but this one is. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a great quality toolbox!
