Wi-Fi set up is a mystery, manuals are poorly written and incomplete, made of cheap plastic.
I bought the Wi-Fi enabled model. My first impression upon unboxing the unit was that the plastic case and removable tank seemed very delicate. On the plus side, it was easy to unbox the unit, connect the small pump tubing, and turn it on. When I try to set up Wi-Fi from my Android phone, the app wants me to put the unit in Standby mode and then press the timer 6 times. Well, I have no idea how to set the dehumidifier to Standby mode. It doesn't have a Standby button and the word "Standby" is nowhere to be found in the manual. Pressing the Timer button 6 times doesn't put the unit in the mode requested by the Android app, so Wi-Fi can't be configured and is useless.

Integrated pump needs manual switching when full no pump button in app
Good: like any other dehumidifier it removes humidity.Bad: the integrated pump has no float switch so have to manually go press it. What is the use of app then ?Ugly: app has overlapping characters, it has no empty tank pump on/off button what is the use of the app anyways if this feature is missing ?

Poor quality control
I first purchased an Emerson Quiet Kool dehumidifier in May 2019. It worked fantastic then six months later it stopped working and displayed an E3 error which was low gas. Emerson sent me a refund and I ordered a replacement. The replacement worked fine for three months then the condensate pump stopped working.

Does the job
Had to add an exterior pump as built in pump wouldn't work properly. Product is too harge/bulky/heavy for me to return. Works fine now.

Failed!
Bought the unit because of it's pump. Purchased in August of 2019. Started getting an e3 error code in February 2020. Reset it numerous times. It would run for a half hour or so. Called warranty repair. Had to show my original receipt. The want a picture of the cut cord, and the peeled serial number off the unit (still trying to figure that out), send the cut cord, and peeled serial number back to them and they will refund my purchase.

Works Great except for Wi-Fi.
It odes exactly what I needed it to do for a home office. Except that I cannot manage to configure the wi-fi. As is typical the instruction manual ranges from cryptic to Sphinx-like on this particular topic. Have not had time, yet, to engage customer support.
