E14 Small ES socket,FINELED Black 3-Pack E14 Lamp Holder Light Socket,Black (Butterfly clip)

Good buy. I was given these lamps last Christmas haven’t been able to use the until I purchased these E14 small sockets to replace the original ones

Just so you know, these came up under a search for small bayonet fitting. Very annoying that Amazon often offer the wrong electrical fitting for a given search (e.g. a search just now for G6 bulbs comes up with G4, G9 and goodness knows what else). In the case of this purchase, it didn't really matter that these sockets are SES instead of SB, but even so...

Bought to convert some wrought iron wall lights from B22 to E14. Unfortunately these do not have an earth terminal so were no good for me. Some more expensive ones on Amazon did have the required earth terminal.

Reasonable price and did what they are designed for.

Nothing to dislike, used them to make some lamps.

They arrived quickly but not great quality, and one cracked when being tightened.

Fiddly to wire and once closed difficult to open

I needed to replace the old bayonet fittings on a vintage chandelier with a spoke type arrangement of the bulb holders.These were ideal for the job, although it would have been useful to have had some instructions with these.A couple of things to note:There is a threaded end where it joins onto the chandelier. I reused the threaded nipple tubes and washers from my existing fittings but it would have been useful to have made this clear in the product description as you would assume you’d be supplied with all the fittings required.Also, don’t connect the cover till you’ve finished as this permanently locks. Not ideal if you want to rewire for example as the only way to get the wired connector is to break it open afterwards.Otherwise, once fitted, does the job and decent quality.

Pour raccorder un fil électrique, on en est encore à la soudure pas de vis.!!!!
