best investment I ever made
I had a previous Corby for over 10 years, best investment I ever made. Saved me thousands in dry cleaning bills. Finally needed to replace after the pads wore down. The new one works fantastic, I almost forget how well they worked brand new. They appear to be made a little more flimsy than the older versions, but still operates just fine. I wall mounted mine in my closet and it works great!

Essential time and money saver for the "sharp dressed man." Or woman.
Essential time and money saver for the "sharp dressed man." Or woman. What can I say? Suit pants, casual pants, even jeans. Smooths out the wrinkles, especially those behind the knee. No it's not as effective as your dry cleaner or just taking out the iron and ironing board yourself. But it is very effective and takes up very little of my time to use.

Do not buy.
I have previously owned one of these which lasted for years. This one arrived damaged and was cheaply made. The iron feature which was not damaged, did not adequately press pants. Poor value for the money. Even if it were not damaged I would have sent it back.

Works Fine, but Avoid if You Don't Mind Ironing in Between Wearings
This is a decent product provided you understand what it is, and is not. If you have a pair of suit pants (think winter or summer weight worsted wool) this will easily press the wrinkles in between wearings - on the legs. Because of the numerous seams and stitching fromt the crotch on up, its not really fasible to press that part of the pants. Were it becomes less effective is with cotton slacks (think Dockers). If you wash Dockers and let them air dry, and think you will be able to "iron" them with the Corby: FAIL. That said, if you manually iron them first, then wear them, the Corby will do an acceptable job of RE-pressing them on subsequent wearings before you wash again. To be clear, Corby does not iron any pants (be they suit pants or cotton pants) after a dry cleaning or washing. You still need to pay for dry cleaning suits, and you still need to wash/iron cotton pants. Where it helps is for subsequent wearings where you need to RE-press pants. THAT is where you save time. Its a bit on the expensive side for what you get, but I am fine (not extatic) about what I got for my money.

Back in business...
Before I bought this pants press, I read a lot of reviews. These machines aren't magic. You have to put the pants in straight. You have to make sure you keep them smooth when you close the door. You have to push a button. Since this was a purchase to replace a press we sold with a house, I went for similar features. This is neither the least nor most expensive but does exactly what my husband and I need it to do in about half an hour, roughly how long it takes to shower and get dressed to go again. If we put our pants in correctly, the result is better and cheaper than a trip to the cleaners or wrestling with an ironing board, both being likely to make the fabric shiny. These presses have never made our pants shiny. This won't replace professional starch and iron for the khakis but it does extend the wear. Ours is wall mounted and we have stowed the feet and coat rack. Our first one lasted several years for us and is probably still operable for the new owner. We won't leave this one next move.

A must have in my opinion
I got hooked on these when a hotel I stayed in in England had one in the rooms. Every well dressed man, who doesn't have a butler, should have one of these to keep your trousers nicely pressed. Easy to use, insert pant legs, close and press the button.

Takes a long time to press pants
You have to do one leg at a time and it takes 20 minutes or so per leg. The deck the pants sit on creates texture to the pantsas presses them and not a smooth appearance. For the press to hold i have had to let teach leg sit in the machine after the press cycle for hours to have the crease stay. The pants are awkwatd to load as if they are not perfectly flat as you feed them in you will get an irregular press.Works well on limited fabric ttypes and has no temp control. This is not a high speed presser by any means.

Doesn't really do a good and consistent job.
Wrinkles, they're always occurring and i've tried multiple attempts to fold my pants. putting them in the pressing machine as carefully as possible but most of the time, they came out with wrinkles on them, i am quite disappointed with this product.
