The Covert Narcissist Kindle Edition

Honestly, this author caught me by surprise. It’s original and very honest, painfully so. My story is similar and I could relate to everything. For almost 6 years I lived in the same environment. Thank God I am free now.Like so many other victims (survivors!) I have read many books about narcissism. Many good ones too:) This one spook to me on another level. An ever deeper one. The empathy of the author and understanding, the inside look how she got affected by all these years with a man who had a narcisstic personality disorder — is breathtaking. This book stayed with me for a long time and still does. It is not a big book, few pages, but is really big in exellent thougts and deep feelings. Let me go as far as to say : This book is a treasure. Not for the ignorant people, and those who dosen’t really care. Somebody said: When the pupil is ready, the teacher will arrive. For you, spesial one, here is something valuable for you.

As a counselor, I would say the information is somewhat accurate. Many things are missing. It’s very opinion driven. But the worst part about this book is how HORRIBLE the grammar is. It was so distracting that I feel it took away from the credibility of the author.

Was disappointed in the book, much more helpful books are available.

The ideas of the book are good. The stories are good, but it needs a good editor. The sentence structure in the second half of the book was very off and at times hard to follow.
