VuQube 1000/2000 Ladder Mounting Bracket.
I own the VuQube 1000, which I love. I bought the ladder mount so that I could leave the VuQube mounted on my RV, secured with a padlock, and still have the flexibility to quickly take it down and move it to a ground location to clear a signal obstruction. I think it is way over priced, but functional. The base sits on a round tube, that is clamped between two alluminum "C" channels bolted together. The other end clamps onto one side of the ladder in the same way. You also get a 3" wide "L" bracket that sticks to the RV with a super stick 3m adhesive, and bolts to the edge of the base at the side, for stability. The two-piece base plate, one piece with four holes for the "legs" of the VuQube to fit into, the other a notched wheel, that turns back and forth, trapping or releasing the legs, is well designed and in the closed position, can be padlocked. The "C" channel clamps are not. The alluminum deforms when you crank the bolts down tight enough to clamp them to the ladder and though I followed all the steps in the instructions exactly, the adhesive eventually let go. With the "L" bracket loose from the RV, the mount was attached to the RV only on the ladder end, which eventually sagged and left the VuQube hanging at an odd angle. It also left crimp marks on my ladder.I took the mount apart, tossed the two "c" channels and the round tube at the bottom of the base plate, and made my own clamping brackets that spanned both of the ladder uprights and doesn't need to be attached to the RV with adhesive tape. Now my VuQube sits higher on the ladder, and much more secure.I recommend the product only for the base plate. Just be prepared for the eventuality that you might have to make some modifications.

Vuqube ladder bracket
The bracket works well once a small obstacle is overcome. The support bracket that attaches to the trailer would not allow my Dish TV Tailgater to sit on the bracket without some modification, it ws too close. I was able toadd a pieceof flat stock steel about 6 inches long and 2 1/2inches wide with two holes drilled on it to allow 2-3 inches of more span to get the Tailgater out far enough so it twould set on the bracket. I could then lock the feet in place.

Great item to own for the VuQube!
I love the VuQube! Now, I have purchased the ladder mount for it and really like it! Convenient and to me, a must have! Somewhat a little pricey for what it is! Could be looked at reducing longterm for more sales volume! Still a GoOD deal!

Doesn't Fit Tailgater Anymore!
Don't buy this MB 400 rv ladder mount if you want to use it for Tailgater (both made by King Controls). It used to fit, but it was redesigned in about February 2012, so that it DOES NOT FIT THE LADDER MOUNT ANYMORE! The rubber feet are now too short to fit into the ladder mount. They told me that the legs no longer screw in, so you cannot modify it by getting new legs to screw in either. They haven't changed their advertising, even on their own website, which still states, "Compatible with VuQube Portable & Tailgater Antennas."I know it makes no sense and is hard to believe a company would treat its customers like that, but if you don't believe me, call and ask their tech support before you buy, and save yourself a lot of trouble.
