GD-7200M: Two Way English - Vietnamese, Vietnamese - English Talking Dictionary Translator with Organizer

This device is not user friendly and the pronunciation is terrible. I returned the device. Fortunately, the return was easy and they refunded my money pretty quickly.

Dude!!! My girlfriend came from Vietnam, she used this freakin' dictionary to look up words that she doesn't understand when she reads the book. Guess what????? She GOT A FREAKIN' 2320 on the SAT!!!!!! This dictionary actually helps people improve their English skills!!!!!! My girlfriend absolutely loved it!!!!! Don't listen to other craps on comments about this dictionary...

Does not translate sentences Vietnamese to English. This added function would have made it a 5 star for me. It does translate english to vietnamese extremely well. I took it to vietnam recently and it was very handy as a translation device. If it could have handled the other side of the conversation as well, it would have been spectacular. Everything else about the device is great. It is geared for an english speaker. Function of food pictures by vietnamese name is pretty cool idea. My advice to the OEM would be to forget the mp3 and media storage aspects (everyone has a smart phone for that by now). Add the vietnamese to english setence translation instead, and watch your sales increase.

Dictionary seems quite good, but it did not take long to find a few incorrect translations. Has 12 language translation dictionaries. I didn't need that.The sentence translator ONLY goes from English to Vietnamese (NOT Vietnamese to English or any other language combination). This makes me suspect it was intended by its designers for Vietnamese visiting English speaking countries to give quick translation to Vietnamese, so they can read signs, menus, etc. It is not much help in general communication.Does have convenient feature that allows you to create your own translation dictionary entries. Among other things I entered my Vietnamese girlfriend's full name in an entry here and for the first time actually heard it pronounced (she won't say it all for me for some reason, but she wrote it down).Includes too many unneeded features that are available in cellphones and other handheld devices! I would have prefered a better sentence translator than these "bells and whistles",

Very good for helping to translate between languages.

It crack the screen just after one drop.

Works great and has so many program. User friendly, but a bit high tech if the user is up there in age. Great customization.
