This is one of the best things that I have ever installed in my bikes sidecar, it keeps my wife happy the entire time we’re on the road. But, I think that it would be really great if they were to sell a panel to mount it with. I had to figure out some way of installing it in my sidecar, as there’s no dash or any other sort of over hanging metal to attach it to. So I just configured a mounting panel to a bolt and then wired it up, and it’s just great, I cannot tell you how much nicer it is to have it there to keep the wife’s cell phone powered up to keep her entertained while I’m scooting down the road. I like the idea of the off/on switch, it’ll keep the battery from going dead when I’m not going anywhere. And the digital readout is wonderful to see what the battery charge is like it’s a great little USB port and it is the very thing that I needed

I used this and a 12v automotive outlet to make a charging station for our camper. I don’t like bright lights on at night so I thought this would be a good choice since the display was red and easier on dark-adjusted eyes. I also really liked the power switch to kill the charger and display when not it use. This worked perfectly for me and it looked good enough that I opted to leave the translucent cover off. I included a couple of pictures with it installed in a blank plate (I used a 1-1/8” hole saw) both on and off. It works perfectly, the switch feels solid, and I really liked the included wires with in-line fuse. I charged my iPad with it after the installation was complete and I’ll buy this again if I need more charging ports in the future.

I used this in my RV to replace a meter that was always on -- wasting power. I like that I can turn this off when I do not need to use it or when I leave my RV unattended for a while and do not have to worry about yet another parasitic power draw. The meter reading was off for me, showing .2 lower than actual charge based on my more accurate plug-in meter reading from my solar charger (but it is also closer to the battery and that might affect it's reading). For me, the USB outlet is an extra bonus.

I installed this in the fairing of my road bike. Easy install. You can not see any type of display for the volt meter until you put power on it and then it is easy to read. You can even read the volt meter through the weather cover. My favorite feature is that the switch turns off both the USB and the volt meter so that it does not continuously drain the battery like those without power switches. This fit nicely in the standard power outlet hole in the fairing.

I like these (a lot). Use them in my DIY projects. My only issue is that they are OFF by .3 volts (too low). Verified with my TRMS Fluke multimeter and my spare meter...yep, these meters are all off. The newest ones I have purchased are off by .4 volts. As for the switch...it disconnects power to the LED voltmeter and USB outlet (no current draw). The QC3.0 function works excellent...phone shows "Turbo Charging". So, if you can stand an inaccurate voltmeter, these are really nice sockets

I bought this to replace another USB outlet that had a soft button switch. At first it worked fine, but not 3 months after installing it we were out in our RV, and the switch failed - it would not turn off! So I replaced it with this one that seems to (for now) turn on and off as desired. I wish it had a blue vs. red light, but this is the only one I could find that had a real (manual) switch. Happy so far!

This charger socket works perfectly on my Bluetooth speaker. I installed it to obtain access to a USB charging socket as well as a line voltage meter to be sure power was at the expected levels when the device is in use. The length was perfect for installing on a 3/4” walnut panel.

This unit I s well designed and sturdy. Having the on/off switch is a huge plus so that there is no battery drain when the battery is not in use. The weather resistant cap keeps debris out of the USB slot. I use one on each my DIY portable auxiliary marine battery boxes. Knowing the charge level is essential and this unit does the job for much less money than most other meters.

stopped working after 1 week of use.I used it on my adventure motorcycle so it was submited to a lot of shaking down the trails,inside the device is a big inductor that broke loose.I resoldered it back on and glued the inductor the the board, it should be good now.I wish the glued the inductor at the assembly line to prevent this from happening...I bought another type of charger (the aluminium housing twin usb port) and it was way better than this one, didn't even broke going down the trails all summer!

Works perfectly. When I opened the package, I thought I was sent the wrong model because I didn't see an LED display. Then I noticed in the instruction sheet the following note, "The LED voltage display will not show up until this charger is connected to power and the on/off switch is turned on.". I'm very happy to now have a phone charger on my boat.

Package arrived ahead of schedule. Product came with all necessary wirings and works as advertised. The built-in on/off switch is a nice touch.Have been using this for about 4 months now, super fast charge phones and doesn't even heat up. A+

The opaque black/ do grey cover isn’t obvious in the description but the voltage shows through when the switch is on. let’s me know the voltage of the trolling motor battery before I kill it by use with too low voltage. It’s accurate to 0.1 v according to the digital check meter.

Installed this in my pop up trailer to monitor the battery while camping without being hooked up to shore power. It worked perfectly. I like the fact that I can turn off the led display. I was able to charge my phone with the usb as well. Great addition to my trailer.
