It would have been nice if it had VGA cable with it
It would have been nice if it had VGA cable with it.I had to buy an HDMI cable and a monitor that had HDMI because that type of VGA in this graphics card is not easily available in India.

Works Great! Very satisfied.
It installed without a glitch and has performed well since. My old HD5670 Radeon card had serious issues with windows 10. This one has DirectX 12, which is what you need to avoid problems with Windows 10.

Solid HDX Movie card
Super deal, I can finally play all the HDX movies on Vudu and stream Netflix and Hulu without having any issues. I had a 64-bit Nvidia 610 series with 2Gb of GDD3 memory prior to this upgrade.Super simple to install on its own...but if you have a built-in vga on your motherboard, you will need to wire that up to install this...as your system will default to the onboard and you won't see this card at first.Still supported with the newest drivers through AMD, which is nice. I wouldn't use it for gaming unless you have a top of the line processor and Northbridge, as anything under 256-bit for gaming is kind of not worth it. For high-def movies, this is the ticket. And the HDMI audio works flawlessly on this...I've had issues with Radeon/AMD HDMI audio before, and it seems they finally got it solid for my system.

Perfect For 1080p HTPC's
Back When Pii 980 BE Was In My 1st Win7 Gaming Build Before Going To A HD 6950 I Found 1080p Looked More 3D For HTPC's Builds So Going With Nothing Below A HD 5770/6770 Then After A Few Years I Would Stick With HD 7770 But Things Change And Smaller PC Builds Are A Thing. This R7 240 2GB Of GDDR5 Was Perfect For My Builds And Not Over Or Under Doing It. The DDR3 Is More For Net-Streamers In My Eyes.

GDDR5 version
Most (if not all) of the reviews for this card are for the DDR3 version, not the better built and faster GDDR5 version. MSI does an admirable job of assembling this model. It is quiet (even under a load - such as watching a 4k UHD video) and performs as well as my GIGABYTE 2GB RX 460. Highly recommended! I wish I could find some benchmarks for this model.
