Psycho II Soundtrack

I just recently received mine in the mail yesterday from "Soundtrackers". This is the definitive version of this classic score! Highly sought after!, and it definitely blows the original 1990 CD & 1983 LP Release of  Psycho 2  out of the water! From Varèse Sarabande. I'm talking in terms of "Attention To Detail" and the care of the Mastering Process, for this long awaited Re-Issue. Playing this on my Hi-Fi Set-Up I was very impressed! You can hear every little nuance of sound in each of the instruments! The sound is extremely clean! And Dynamic with good Stereo Imaging. As quoted from the liner notes in the booklet "We had the pleasure of going back to the complete "MULTI-CHANNEL RECORDING SESSION MASTERS" and assembling the entire score. The Master Elements were in Pristine Condition, and included all of the complex electronic overlays". Plus as a bonus some Alternate Takes and other extras!I recently discovered this shortly after I acquired the new Re-Issue of  Creepshow-Expanded Original Motion Picture Soundtrack . I'd highly advise you to snatch one up before both of these Classics are GONE! As they very well maybe hard-to-find collector's items in the near future. Just like that of  Friday the 13th, Parts 1-6, Limited Edition .GET YOURS NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

I got on here a couple of weeks ago to show someone the ridiculous $200 price tag on the out of print version someone was selling a while back, but this is what I came across instead. So, I snagged it; and it deserves as much praise as it can possibly get. I'm pretty sure that if I tried to find ways to improve this collection, I wouldn't come up with anything. this is everything the Psycho II soundtrack SHOULD be and CAN be. I'm not going to comment on the score itself, since I'm assuming that most of the people here reading the reviews for this soundtrack are already familiar with the music. but I will say that Intrada did an A+ job making it the best it can possibly be. The packaging and artwork look great, It comes with a booklet that gives you a little backstory on the movie and the making of its soundtrack, the complete remastered score in chronological order, and a handful of extras, including the two piano sonatas that Norman plays in the movie. What more could you ask? Thank you, Intrada, for putting this collection together.

This is the most beautiful soundtrack/score to any horror film that exists. It was worth every cent I paid for it.

Had this on vinyl from back in 1982 and still listen to it. Having a complete score on CD is more than I could have hoped for. Case arrived cracked and broken, but the product itself is a keeper.

I finally got one of the most underated horror film soundtracks. This is definitely a must have for all Jerry Goldsmith fans. I strongly recommend this. Thanks to Amazon for an amazing price and seller!

Hauntingly beautiful, but sad melodies reminiscent of the anguish Norman faced in the movie. Once again, Jerry Goldsmith showed his consummate abilities in creating musical masterpieces to set the tone of the picture. Of all the Psycho movie soundtracks, this is by far, the best.

I love movie soundtracks good or bad and Psycho 2 doesn’t disappoint. Thrilled to add this to my collection.

Very good remastered soundtrack. ALL music of the movie, is on this cd and the sound is spectacular. If you know this movie very well, you can see some scenes in your head during listening this cd. VERY VERY GOOD MUSIC SCORE.

Psycho IV wurde 1990 von Universal für MTE-Showtime produziert und ausschließlich für das Amerikanische Fernsehen.Der Soundtrack wurde von Graeme Revell geschrieben wobei der größte teil von Bernhard Hermann stammt.Leider gab es keinen Release des Soundtracks jedoch wurde jahre später eine Promo CD des genialen Soundtracks von Graeme Revell veröffentlicht, streng limitert-nur wenige Soundtrack-Sammler/Fan's haben eine kopieergattern können.Auf der CD befinden sich insgesammt 47 Tracks, darunteralle bekannten Melodien von Hermann(arrangiert von Revell)sowie Revell(Titel für Psycho IV) mit Bonus Edits.Für Fan's des Films und Sammler gilt :Kaufen! ...und natürlich hören! Einfach klasse!

Finally I got this soundtrack will all the music. This is well-worth buying if you're a fan of Jerry Goldsmith.

Jerry goldsmith did some fine scores. I've always liked the understated ones .this is one of my favourites .look out for a little of it turning up in legend.
